There's actually codes in the top, if you find 5 different codes and put them in numbered order; the ones shown in the cylinder are in order coinciding with the numbers. Like for example the batch thats available in my area is 3, 4, 5, 6, 7. I wanted the one in the pink dress so I picked the 7 and it was her.
I actually like the Dream Ella one better than the Barbie one 😅 At least we got a wig for Ella, I'll never forgive Barbie for doing molded on hair or those little peg-hair thingies

Actually I really like this one! Rooted hair, pretty face and the legs and high heeled feet is FANTASTIC! Loved seeing this and your experience with the doll was hilarious!!! Keep up the good work!
I actually like the Party series, the dolls are really pretty with long, thick hair AND they finally have some glam makeup, especially when they get icy cold water on the lips and eyes. I was thinking of rebodying them but I like em as they are, which is rare for me cos I love me some articulation.
@@silk8705 yes but it's a budget doll, because not everyone can afford to buy the top dolls on the market for kids. MGA is actually smart by expanding their market to kids in low income families. Now Mattel is just making plain cheap garbage and upselling it way past it's actual value. If something is cheap, the price should be cheap as well.
I have heard that, even though the codes are different between different places, if you find six different codes on the dolls in your store and arrange them chronologically, then the dolls are in the same order as on the list on the front. So you can manage to get the doll you want.
@@DylanRomanov even so this seems like the kind of thing I would like for the first ten minutes as a kid after I do the whole getting the paint off of the doll part and then it'd go in the back of the toy box tbh💀 Even at 5 I think the lack of quality would of bothered me to some extent, especially considering how high quality the dolls I grew up with were. Idk if I'm in the minority here but-
@@user-sg4ov7ng4h definitely same!! I just know my most played with dollies tended to be articulated or at least had a lil higher quality. The idea itself is super fun and cool though! Tbh I think it would have been smarter for them to just make all of the color reveals mermaids so then the clothes and articulation wouldn't matter near as much.
the codes on the top are fairly easy to figure out witch one you get its 4 numbers and 2 letters ex.1271HF you have to do this in person and there have to be a full set of tubes if not more usually most numbers stay the same ex. 1271HF 1281HF 1261HF the one that changes twards the end will tell you wich doll you get. the lowest the number will match the left most dolls picture on the bottom of the tube and the highest number will match the right most doll with the 3 in the middle following suit ex. 1241HF 1251HF 1261HF 1271HF 1281HF so i just line them up follow the pictures and pick the doll i want (the only ones this did not work on were the mermaid reveal dolls)
As a collector I despise these but if they came out while I was a kid I absolutely would have loved them to be honest. Despite the bad quality they look really fun to play with.
i believe the dolls have a serieal number in the package so you can tell which one it is. i'm not quite sure where ( i think is on the top) but you can look for it and choose wich doll you want so you won't buy the same one.
i got the barbie original one from this set and I love her long hair. i hate the body so i will probably switch her original body with a made to move one. not gonna lie i actually love these ones much better than the other series. Lovin the long hair which i braid to release some stress. love to you hun ❤️❤️
I'm quiet relieved 😅 to see a Barbie doll with now slightly LONGER hair almost waist length, thank you Mattel for slowly producing Barbie back with more slightly LONGER hair
What Mattel needs to do is let the customer know what they are getting. The dolls should have no painted clothes. These dolls need to be sprayed painted up to their faces and have full outfits as accessories.
I totally agree with you, I HATE color reveal dolls, the gimmicky water reveal is useless, and the colors are awful. Maybe for a child ( but then the MESS it creates!) is not great for a child. IMHO
Even though the top knot may be a problem for u, this doll has better quality hair comparitively.. Trust me the other dolls in the series have hair that are worse.. I saw a My World review recently and the dolls she reviewed had awful/terrible hair.. But still all of them are nasty, shitty quality dolls Can't wait for your Dream Ella Review 😉👍
It's horrendous. Colored legs and a plastic top, a horribly colored and patterned cheap dress. Combining anything with this doll but its own set must be a pain on its own. And the doll isn't even hidden anymore!
Blind purchase is taking over way too much of our favorite merch. These dolls especially. It’s like you’re paying extra to assemble the doll for them. I refuse to buy one.
I really like the one you got. I guess we're all different. I definitely don't appreciate the low quality but, I'm a sucker for brightly colored, fantasy toys. My daughter would love the color reveal part. Wish they weren't so pricey!

I'm not a big fan of the colour reveal dolls but they're good for younger kids as there are less parts, an activity and they're made of a stronger, water safe plastic. I got my 2 year old niece one of the Chelsea ones, I took the shoes and skirt and gave her the doll after we did the water thing. Honestly she likes her other (non colour reveal) barbies more and they cost about the same.
Joey. Why do you think their sponges are for excess water. The sponges are for you to wet with cold water and reveal different coloured. Lips. Eyes. Hair and face art etc
Well my 2 year old and my friend's 6 year old love them but they are little and love the water mess and they can go in the bath too. Lol. But I agree they are not good for anyone else but a kid.
I got the same one. Had to try a color reveal fi ally and nope. Not a fan either. I wanted the one with long red hair then I would swop her body. The Dream Ella color reveal... At least I can see on Amazon that you know which 9ne you are buying plus they are much cheaper.

I don’t like color reveal either BUT this series is actually nice, not nice enough for me to collect them but if I ever see one in sale I would definitely get one and rebody it with a made to move. Btw my niece and her friends are obsessed with color reveal in general and according to them the reveal is more like part of the unpacking the actual gimmick is the color change with cold/hot water which I kinda understand, I used to like that stuff as kid too

Do you notice to other Barbie dolls they have the same shoes try to buy or look at a doll photo of Barbie big city big dreams doll blonde and look at their shoes they are the same but in different colors
I hate colour reveal dolls, I generally hate the concept of having a surprise element to what you are going to get on anything that costs more than £5. At least this one has rooted hair, bc I hate those stupid wigs with a passion. x

I love your videos! I live your honesty. If barbie put all the money that they put into this line into actually making a good line..we'd be in business. I bought the new looks barbie the other day, was really excited..they were quite pricey and as amazing as they were I was surprised they had no eyelashes. Do you have a video on those ones Joey? Why I like them cause they dolls I like to get different kind of does I also think is could for people with anxiety and mystery toys are good for people with like disabilities would like that stuff
I always shower and wash my hair right before filming videos, then I have to wait forever for it to dry since I don't allow a blow dryer near my dyed hair.. then I'm frustrated because I want to get my daily video done so I can go out and do stuff!
Hey ! Once again, you manage to make me laugh with another Reveal vid ! I think this one have a cute face, even you hate her lol, but i think Mattel should have gave the doll some kind of scrunchy to use like a top thing. But you totally right when u say, this dolls are way too expensive.
