5:52 Maybe its the scientist from the Chinese floating map (the one that throws energy orbs that can damage or weaken plants). Considering theres already a basic jetpack, and on the portrait its placed next to him 6:10, Id say its the safest bet.
If i had to guess, that lego pvz set was lifted from a custom instruction manual online because they use WAY too many actual official pieces. Like green bananas? No way that wasnt lovingly conceived of.
Hey man, I’ve been a viewer for quite some time and I just want to tell you how much I appreciate your content. It’s hard to find content creators who have this unique style of humour without them constantly overstimulating the viewer with the constant abundance of memes, loud noises and editing to keep their attention in check. Not to mention extremely quick pacing. I’d argue that you do the same, but it’s far more tame in comparison and at least makes sense with the context of your videos. (Ie: your reviews of crap video games with lacklustre content.) and whenever you begin to scream into the mic, it’d be with proper comedic intent. (Though I’d argue I wasn’t a huge fan of all the screaming/loud noises at the end, the freak out at the beginning of it was actually funny coupled in with the editing.) I really like your “deadpanned humour”, it’s a little reminiscent of Moist Critikal where the humour relies on the choice of words. This isn’t to be taken as a critique as I’m certain not many people even feel this way with the cons I’ve pointed out, but I really wanted to let you know how much your content meant to me as someone who is quite sensitive when it comes to overstimulating content (I am photophobic and have sensitive ears which are already slightly damaged) Your content has provided me a space on RU-vid where I can find enjoyment that suits my very specific needs and interests. While there may be things you make videos on that don’t spark my interest, knowing it’s a video you made - I know before clicking on it that it will still catch my attention regardless. Thank you, T3rr0r.
0:29 I love how this has both Minecraft and terraria, and the fact that the terraria skeleton and silver armor look better than the original toy releases
as a person that grew up with these toys and bootlegs, I'm greatly offended by the claims made on this video anyways please keep doing these I love seeing people destroying toys and they are fun to watch
The figures of the sunflower, peashooter and bonk choi are actually official models for figure toys that EA and PopCap used for a limited time collab with a mexican pastry company called "Vualá" that ran from around fall of last year to summer of this year,Vualás are basically a bag of 5 small croissants with some filling and that also come with a toy inside the bag from whichever thing they're making a collab with, this isn't a first time thing btw, around 2012 or 2013 they had also collabed but with some keychains of the Pvz 1 plants and zombies (pvz had a LOT of collabs with mexican snack companies during its peak in the early 2010's) Most of the toys look to be ripped from those collabs,i'm guessing their gimmicks were added as to make them somewhat more original rather than just being straight up copies as to avoid legal issues, that could explain the odd choice for sunflower's spring gimmick and chomper's disk throw (however chomper's gimmick could perhaps be based on their goo ability from the shooters)
I mean are they wrong for wantig him to not detroy toys that some kids would love also i grew up with alot of bootleg toy and look at me still head in the good
4:21 This guy isn't from Lost City, but from another PVZ2C-exclusive world, Sky City. The Scientist Zombie with the jetpack at 5:52 is called the Lightning Gun Zombie, and he is also from Sky City. Edit: The plant at 15:39 is called "Flying Saucer Gourd" (literal translation of Chinese name), and it's *also* from Sky City.
"The disc chomper shoots is about as accurate as the jumping sun flower" There based on pvz gw. Sunflower can jump because it's a shooter game and chomper has an ability to shoot goop that slows and damages zombies.
That bootleg Lego set makes me want a PvZ official Lego theme now. Popcap could very easily turn it into a modular build similar to what Nintendo is doing with their Mario sets. The starter kit could be the neighborville house with a Crazy Dave minifigure and time machine, a sunflower and peashooter, and some basic zombie minifigs. The additional sets could be builds of each of the plants perched on a display plate that can then be placed within the house starter set, as well as unique zombie minifigures based on one of the level themes from PvZ 1 or 2. Alternatively, they could do larger-scale builds themed around the different timelines of PvZ 2 that each come with their own set of plants and zombies, which can then be mixed around to create your own scenarios. Either way, I can see the potential with PvZ as a Lego theme.
There's a second version of that Peashooter toy that's specifically got a squeezable head. Put a ball in the funnel mouth, squeeze the head, and the ball launches with a literal popping sound. It's actually a really good toy. Not bootleg. Just overseas. There just happens to also be a hard plastic variant that shoots tiny missiles.
Seeing these just makes me wonder what an official PVZ toy line would be like in 2023. I know that we’ve gotten ones from Jazwares and Diamond Select, but both of those aren’t being made anymore.
This is the most I have laughed in SO long, your sense of humor is just amazing! When you did the "safety test" I laughed so hard that I cried! Best editing of 2023.
At 13:33, the reason the Chomper shoots out the disc is probably because of the garden warfare series, in which Chomper has a ability to shoot out a sticky goop to slow enimies
