Double monitor thing is just a streamer thing to read chat without alt tabbing. If u are not a programmer etc, ur fatass can press alttab and it will do the double monitor job for free. Its just for the feeling u "work" ig or to make desk setups more flex-able
Also, if you plan to go to uni, a decent tablet is more worth it than a second monitor. It can even function as a second monitor if you set up it right

I legitimately don't think I could operate with a single monitor any more. It's so much more beneficial for work. I can have work open on one monitor while using the other for everything that lets me procrastinate for the entire day.
I think the laptop he's confused about at 10:44 is a panasonic toughbook, if anyone's wondering. Not very powerful, but you can run one over in a 4x4 and it will still play runescape.
two monitor setups should have one of the monitors in portrait set up so you can view pdf and write in ms word easily and generally read things easily without scrolling. widescreen are only better for watching videos and maybe 2% of websites

8:19 I have one of my monitors sideways and set it that way, it's a good thing for if you are gaming while chatting on discord 😁 I'm a geek though, I have a quad monitor setup. Main screen is for steam, secondary for other random shit, 3rd screen is always connected to my email and official shit then I have my ickle 14" monitor sideways for text chat..... And FTR, George, I own a square monitor, they aren't that bad tbf. In this day and age they are defunct but they are still cute 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I don't need to crane my neck too much to see the top monitor, but it is less convenient than having a monitor by the side. Unfortunately the PS5 and Switch would have nowhere to go if the monitor was too the side. It's perfect for a YT video on in the background, Discord, etc etc. I wouldn't play games using the top monitor.

My dad once gave me a laptop that was one of those mw2 case things, it was pretty sick, slow though lol. You could throw it out a window and it’d be fine.

As someone who spent years with a dual-monitor set up... it was mostly pointless. There were very few situations where it was better to have something on a second monitor rather than just alt-tabbing between things.
I have 4 monitors (one 1080p 165hz, another 4k 60hz and the other two are small used to display important info) and a Ryzen 7 5800x, rtx 3060, 32gb 3600mhz RAM, x570 crosshair hero VIII. All Asus and Corsair so everything (led wise) works with iCue and then I use Wallpaper Engine to sync my wallpaper and iCue LED.
Yea I can’t live without dual monitors once I got them I can’t go back, you don’t even have to spend much, my second monitor is just a cheap one from Facebook marketplace because all I do on it is schoolwork and just random tasks and stuff and then I bought a nice one for my main monitor (1440p 144hz) Btw my specs are a 4070 12g, 5600x and 16gb of ram
does your chair not lean back? you never had a reclined gaming/watching session? like yeah level is better but if you can't make that work vertical is good.
laptop keyboard feel like sticking your finger into a pile a of gabage especially if you get into a tense moment, you can't feel where the keys are cause they're so short making it easy to press the wrong keys and they're cramped compared to a full size keyboard so doubley awkward. no hate to poor fellas but a free keyboard would probably be better than most laptop keyboards.
the lego set is the huge £700 also ik the pain of having the legs fall apart after almost 6 hours of nonstop building and constant back pain just to see it all crumble before you and the slow realiation that all the work you put in is gone because for some reason part of the head mechanism cant be taken apart so you cant just rebuild it you have to try and fix it so its even weaker after an eternity of agonising back pain and nails that look like someone has taken a chainsaw to them you finally put it on the shelf just to turn around and here a loud crash as you realise it has falled off and in the proces some how knocked every single other lego model even if its on the otherside of your room then your stupid little brother comes in and makes a snarky comment so you just batter him and then instead off being able to have a chance of seperating it your parents take it all away but everything goes in one box and its all mixed together and you finally get it back just too see half of its gone and most of the actual lego bricks themselves have been snapped in half and you could literally walk accross a field of lego bricks just to get a look at your originiol UCS star destryoer one last time before it was ripped from your hands and destroyed in a firy pitt of misery and dispare :(
I use a USB keyboard on a laptop aswell. Laptop keyboards are just a pain to type on properly. I mean, I'm pretty sure that won't bother you if you use the two finger search method, but if you're actually used to typing, laptop keyboards are a pain in the arse.
Oh if you saw my set up... laptop running a second screen, 20€ feather light mouse, and an ikea custom table that was too big so i sawed a slot out of it so i can sit on the inside and put mu legs on a part of the table that goes out to the left of me (i duck taped the edge so it doesnt cut me again) 😎
My setup is just my pc under a picnic table with a tv that is way too big mounted to the wall above it so I have to strain my neck if Im not playing with a controller
