2023 and still much in love with this song and all of Awilo’s songs from his major album(Coupe Bambam). Awilo is a legend and one of the forerunner to the present crop of music artists we have now. His lyrics and beats are unbeatable, even when those of us from Anglophone countries don’t understand his words, we still found a way to feel happy and get involved with his songs. I just can’t get tired of listening to Awilo Logomba. Much love from Nigeria❤🇳🇬
Awilo was loved in both Francophone and Anglophone Africa. Inspired many, P-square DjArafat and many more greats today. How? Man had the charisma. Awilo The Legend.
I remember back at the village in Northern Ghana in the 90s when this song hit us. Gone are the days when Awilo songs were source of happiness even though we don't understand French. Time changes indeed. hmmmmm
Ahhh. This music reigned in Nigeria from 1998 to 2003, even in 2004 some people were still playing it. Lots of memories, those days cant come back again.
I was in class six and my English teacher was in class when the neighbor next to our school played it.I could not wait for the teacher to exit class.I found myself up and dancing to its tune and beats. The commotion attracted the attention of the teacher and i was told to match forward and do it in front of the whole class.Thereafter,i was skinned alive for interrupting classwork.i saw hell on 🌍earth.I love Awilo songs so much. A true living legend
I recall back in time as a little child around 1999 one time i got so obsessed with this song singing in broken lyrics obballe...fiffi yyo and my Mumm got infuriated and asked me whether i wanted to pursue a music career oooh this music
Each time I listen I remember my who was hospitalized at momze mission hospital in the 1998 this the only audio album we had home in namboard police camp
@@kabugokusain4883 I’m glad I’m not the only one obsessed with that image. He reminds me so much of my little brother who is much bigger now. Thanks for your contribution. God bless you
