Awit ng Tagumpay [Philippine Anti-colonialist Song]

The tune of "Awit ng Tagumpay" is identical to the Socialist Chilean Song, "El pueblo unido jamás será vencido." Its lyrics are made by Ramon Ayco and are sung by the musical group, PATATAG. Despite its communist background, the song talks more about the inevitable triumph of the nation against its foreign oppressors.
Note that I do not support any ideology and my intention is to promote Filipino culture, and not a particular ideology
I do this for fun and practice so you can use this anywhere you like since I don't really mind :)

Awit ng tagumpay [Philippine Anti-colonialist song] Bangon bayan, tayo’y magwawagi Abot tanaw ang bagong araw Puro, diwa ng bayang dinusta, sumisigaw hustisya at paglaya ng bayang api, walang katarungan daang taong hawak ng dayuhan Sulong bayan, tayo’y magwawagi Ating yaman laging ipaglaban Lupa, langit, dagat, kabundukan nasa kamay ng mga dayuhang mapang-api, ganid, mapagsamantala Kapit-bisig, hindi malulupig! Sumulong ka bayan, tayo ngayo’y lalaban! Ubod lakas ang tinig, isisigaw ang “Sulong”! (CHANT) Tibayan ang hanay! Gapiin ang kaaway! ×2 Sulong bayan, tayo’y magwawagi Ipaglaban ang ating karapatan Hilaga, timog silanga’t kanluran bawat sulok ng baya’y nagkakaisang tunay ang buong kapuluan kapit-bisig, hindi malulupig. Bangon! Sulong! Baya’y magwawagi! ×5

Whichever side you pick in Philippine politics, you have to agree that this leftist song is better than most overused Filipino songs. It's a fresh good change from nationalist songs, I'm tired of listening to songs like "Ako ay Pilipino".

Actually, the original song is used against left or right wing form of any government. But the very message of the song is the people united fighting against injustice by the authorities. Communist lang kasi nag translate nito, pero if you use it against colonialism kagaya ng nakasulat sa caption, mas mainam pa.
