Help a girl out: I have a crush on this senior, he's actually graduating as I'm typing this, and I don't know what to do. Usually when I had a crush on a guy he wouldn't even know of my existence, but now this guy would always talk to me when he could and say hi to me in the halls. Before spring break he asked for my number and he would ask me if I was free so we could hang out, I was always free but the problem is that my parents are really strict and they don't let me out if they're not coming with me. I was planning on confessing my feelings yesterday, but I didn't. I know that he doesn't like me that way, and if I tell him something it might ruin our friendship. I've had a lot of friends that know him tell me that he still likes his ex, which makes me sad because at a moment I thought we had something going on (he held my hand at a rollercoaster, gave me a heart plushie, asked me if my parents were against dating, and asked me to go out for a movie), but I guess that was just me thinking too much about things. Now this is where I need help: I really hope I see him during summer, but as I said before, my parents are really strict so even if he agrees to go somewhere I don't know how to convince my parents. I really want to get to know him more, even just as a friend, but I don't know if I'm just digging myself a hole over here. If I hang out with him, would I end up crushing on him even more? My friends keep telling me to forget about him because he's a manhoe, but he's always been really nice to me. Should I just stop talking to him? I feel like I'm lying to myself when I say that I just want to talk to him as a friend, but it actually makes me sad to think that I might not see him anymore. Should I give it a try? Should I flirt? Or should I just look at him as a friend? Or do you guys think that it's better to stay away from him before I start crushing on him harder?
