I wish someone would post the clip of them in the Caterham garage standing next to a senior Caterham engineer when Jake describes how Eddie thought they were the biggest disappointment of the season so far. To use some American examples, in Britain bollocks or bollocking is slightly less severe than balls or shit and slightly more severe than nuts or crap. And cunt is still the most intense swear word but is used more regularly in Britain than in America. But the same goes for all swear words because for some reason Americans puss out on swearing. In Britain you might be willing to say fuck to your boss on occasion (in conversation about sports or a difficult problem at work) but would be making a mistake saying cunt. And only a scumbag would call their parents cunts, or say it in front of children.

+Ger Ruddy In the UK bollocks is another word for your balls. Giving someone a bollocking in literal terms would be kicking them in the balls, metaphorically as stated in the video is a telling off. You also use it as a swear word if you do something wrong, so if you spill your drink or something instead of saying "oh dear" or "shit" you might say "bollocks" or "oh, bollocks!" which essentially just means "oh, balls".

Jake Humphrey was the most awkward presenter I’ve ever seen. I remember once he made a comment to David Coulthard which clearly didn’t go down well with him. The camera cut to a close up of Coulthards ‘WTF’ face at the perfect moment. I wish I could remember what he said.
