Yes, thanks for asking.. all these videos were requested exactly from factory person.. .. she was latter let go, the only one that tried to help.. I ended up giving up troubleshooting. And just deinstalled everything, and reinstalled it..
I'm having a problem with my Latitude awning. I recently had an RV repair shop replace the entire awning due to a mishap. unfortunately when I attempt to extend it, ihe awning only extends 6 inches at a time( each touch) of the control pannel. It eventually extends after multiple touches and allows for the flap rollback automatically. Also the awning fully retracts without any problems. Is this a tension problem or a computer/contoller problem? The fabrick seems tight when extended which leads me to believe it may be a tension adjustment (a guess on my part). The RV shop said it's a factory tension setting and would have to order a new awning and would have to charge for installation again. Is there an adjustment that can be done to fix this issue?
I've never replaced one, but it seems to me, the motor has a current limit, (more tension, more draw, then shuts off) so your guess sounds reasonable.. I'm no expert, and I'm not there to test it..rvs are a pain, but we have ours all fixed now..good luck.
