The questions the people are not answering are before the enthronement of the new King the Imam had been turbaned by his predecessor. Were there no protocols in place for this process. How come he emerged from Ayillara's family or did he nominate himself. What were the Oba in council contributions to his turbaning. Would it be part of the responsibilities of the new King to undo what the demised King had done. It should not be forgotten that a panel must have been set up on the advice of the last King to bring forth a new person for the Imamship. Or was the Imam the one who brought himself out on his own volition. He did exam for himself awarded the highest pass mark for himself and presented himself to the last Oba. This cannot be a one day process. If it took weeks where were the family that are now denying him. My own advice for Kabiyesi is to tell the Ayilara family that he cannot undo what his predecessor has concluded. If they are not satisfied they can sue as Ayilara family the Imam to the court. Pending the determination of the case the Imam will continue his Imamship. But my advice to the family is that the amount of money they will spend in litigation may impoverish most of them and the time they would waste could have been used for better things. Hardliners hardly succeed.
