AWP Jared Leisek Response to first video 

I recently read that Jared (as AWP) hired his sister a while ago to answer his emails. What if that is true and this story might not be as it seems? Now his sister and his cousin together posted a GoFundMe (with a goal of one million dollars) to pay for lawyers to sue Jared and because they need the money to lead a "better" life. What if????

I was falsely accused of sexual abuse and although I was never even charged the accusation was more than enough to make me guilty in the eyes of my neighbors. The accusation was put together by my now ex wife and it gave her time to dissappear with my children for 2 year's. A doctor and child psychiatrist interviewed my then 4 year old daughter and she told them " mommy told me to say this" and that nothing happened. When I got my children back my neighbors were shocked that I had my children back. Once accused you can never be found innocent in the court of public opinion. If Jared did it I hope he rots if not then I feel sorry for him because he will never be looked at as innocent but that he got away with it.

I agree with everything that you said. I did go back and watch your first video. Hard to believe people would give you such a hard time. Dan Down Under had the same opinion that you and I do and he was hit hard too. As a matter of fact, he decided to shut down his YT channel. He came back and said that he would continue searching for lost people in the river, but may not show the videos if he even filmed them. Do people not realize that lawyers will not let him talk. I'm not saying hes innocent but everyone has the right under the law to be proven guilty. Example:Johnny deep and Amber heard. He was proven innocent. And yet his life was nearly destroyed. I’m with u on this … Now I am not somebody that can say 100% if Jared did it or not I have no clue but I do believe we need more evidence pointing to Jared people lie all the time and make up shit all the time and it’s not fair to condemn Jared to hell without knowing 100% if he’s guilty or not and at this point we really don’t know so everybody should be open minded…. I’m sorry but I have a hard time believing and Jared would ever admit something like that in an email he Sparks me as a little smarter than that… It’s kind of crazy as soon as he gets famous all of a sudden this comes out it’s just weird it’s all a little weird and for me to make a judgment I need to know more

I'm wondering why all of a sudden it's coming out 30 years later . That's what confuses me .

People are saying Jared admitted wrongdoing and then turned around and said he denied wrongdoing. My understanding of what Jared said is that he made mistakes as a kid. The denial in my opinion is the time frame in which it happened and, like you said, if he wrote the emails, if you can believe the gossip, etc. People said he’s been to quiet. Guilty or not, he is not obligated to defend himself. That’s what attorneys are for! This is one of the best videos I’ve seen so far on the matter. This is America after all! The burden of proof is with the plaintiff and the state…

I hear you! People get mad when you don’t have the same opinion as them now a days. Very low level of consciousness. Also, we all go through traumas as children usually, but we’re responsible for our healing no matter WHAT happened to us, but these girls or guys who go through abuse hold onto it for ever and continue to see themselves as a victim instead of doing the WORK to heal, then attack others who ask questions and have a new perspective, to reaffirm their addiction to victimhood. Here's my take Being that I was molested for years by family member.. trust and believe, 1 year or 30 years, the pain will always be there to a degree... I never confronted this person and it put me on a very rocky path for MANY years, im in my 50s now, and I realize this is true for most folks, were born, we have our childhoods, we go on to spend the first part of out adulthood trying to get over, work through, forget our childhood, then if were blessed, we realize none of what happened to me defined me, I did that to myself.. it doesn't make it go away, but it does make it less painful, and it effects me less and less the older I get. thank you for giving him the benefit of the doubt.. but it really doesn't matter, you're right, he's done. Toast. If he's innocent. .. thats a shame. If he's not good... screw him. Now we have to let the court decide..

I don't know anything other than whats been put out on RU-vid. I've seen a lot say it, but I got the same off vibes from the guy too. There was something off about him and I remember in one episode he was explaining to a family why he felt they should throw themselves in front of his cameras because "Its for the fans at home who will want to hear your side" and the way he said it it was almost like He felt they owed him the time to go on camera and talk about their missing loved one, regardless of them clearly not seeming to be comfortable doing that. It seemed to me he was saying "I came all the way here to help, I'm doing this cause I'm such a nice person im not going to charge you, this isnt about big sums of money from RU-vid vids and subs, nor that 50k reward I said I didn't and could not take but then did take, this is about me, my show and my business, and my company requires you to get in front of that camera. Anyway, to the uploader. I agree with you. Jumping to conclusions doesn't help and just because J is choosing not to say anything, that isn't and can't be seen as a sign of guilt or innocence. Any good lawyer will have told him to keep his mouth shut because "You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can, and it most certainly will, be used against you in a court of Law."

I agree with you. There were a lot of people that believed AH in the Depp situation at first and we all know how that turned out. This all seems a little too convienant for this to come out now and the Emails bother me as well. Who would be dumb enough to put such an admission in writing? And do it on the AWP email? Surely Jared isn't the only one to have access to that email; if they are real emails, where's the proof that he did in fact send them. Why isn't computers and other devices being seized to check? Jared has never been my favorite person from AWP because he does seem arrogant, but that doesn't make him guilty. If someone knew they had Skelton's in their closet like he's being accused of, you'd think he'd want to stay out of the spotlight because of those dirty secrets. Or he is a truly f'd up individual and thought he was "famous" enough to get away with it. I've watched, or listened to rather, an interview from his sister and there's something off with her too. She went into their entire life story basically and you could tell she loved to talk. She didn't shut up and was going on and on about things that really didn't have anything to do with what he's being accused of. Now, with all that being said; if he is guilty, I hope he burns in hell. I was once a victim of SA myself and by no means condone such actions, but there's something wrong with this whole AWP/ Jared situation.

It was strange every single member from AWP left or resigned in the last week. Pretty telling, But it's only speculation. When I listened to Sam Sam the Adventure Man, and Kyler Ginn, (his son) I feel it shown what a piece of real crap he is. BUT, it isn't proof he R'ed any one.

I agree with you. Reading those emails was difficult. And if this truly happened then yes she deserves justice. The inconsistency of the age is what bothers me. Which one is telling the truth? Psychology talks about the adult mind and false memories. Now I am not saying this woman is lying. I truly believe something happened but either one of them could be mistaken for the age. And they may both think they are 💯 right about the facts. But how are they going to prove how old she actually was or how old Jared was? That's going to be hard to do. The sister that set up the GoFundMe damaged the case in a huge way. But regardless it is the accusers job to prove their facts of the case. (Innocent until proven guilty) but let me say it again. I believe this woman. I think he did what she says he did. I'm just concerned how she is going to prove it when it occurred 30 yrs ago? Legally the law is different if he was 12 yrs old than if he was 17 yrs old. And this could be all the difference in the world on whether he will be found guilty or even what kind of sentence he gets if he is found guilty. I know emotions are high when things like this comes out but I hope people can keep their heads clear until we actually know the story that both will be able to tell in court. Regardless, he put together a group of people that made a great difference in our world. We shouldn't forget that. Whether it was money driven or not, keep in mind what they did wasn't cheap and there mission helped these families with zero cost to them or law enforcement. Maybe this was his way of trying to right a wrong. Either way I have a hard time bashing him and thinking the worst of this guy. Yes it's horrible and extremely wrong but these actions now and 30 yrs ago don't match. Something is off

I agree with you on many things and I would saddle up..... except for one or two minor points to consider. But first: Thanks for the video, and the commentary. These things require time and skill - so thanks. I watched the tedious Nug video as well. And there are a few things to understand that may help to add a little clarity. The person behind the camera is Nug's wife who is moderating the live stream. What she is adding is some detail for Nug because he is so emotionally invested, he is losing his ability to make calm, rational, sense. And he admits that several times. He and Jared were great pals, and as such, they frequently broke bread together in each other's homes. And so, both Nug and his wife are feeling confused and betrayed. The emails that Nug is speaking of had been read, and paraphrased - by Nug, so accuracy suffered, but the main idea came across. Jared's reply to Nug's follow up texts was something like "....the emails are my statement....." (so now I'm even paraphrasing a paraphrase - See how this gets out of hand?). Another diver joins Nug later on during the stream, and his input is valuable. About Nug's body language: You should tune in to several of his episodes prior to assessing his forthrightness. Through viewing him, I have come to understand that Nug is not as confident as he might be. Surely not as secure as yourself in front of a camera, or when interacting with others. He seems to be painfully introverted. At least more than moderately shy. Personally I know plenty of upstanding and trustworthy folks who have eye contact issues - yet I have no issue with trusting them or their credibility. I bet you know people like that as well. We must all take care when measuring others with our own yard stick. It's just bad Juju. While I agree that - if there is such a text from Jared - then it should be seen. However, Nug could not point his phone at the cam, because he was actually using his phone for the cam on that stream, and he says so several times. Plus, such a text communique (and this is me talking) just might be valuable evidence which might become null and void if it's shared publicly prior to the trial. And if that is so, then it may be key evidence that might have otherwise convicted the accused - if it weren't seen to be tainted/prejudicial, and thus thrown out/inadmissable. Please go back to the Nug video and soldier through it. I did. And yes it's all over the map because this is a hot topic being relayed by rank amateurs who are technologically inept. And honestly, you can't legitimately tell people to watch your entire video so as to become fully informed prior to commenting, when you've said you'd bailed on Nug's. Well, you can, but it robs some of your credibility, (and you have some strong points - don't waste them on a technicality). You come across like a stand-up guy. I would have no reason to suspect otherwise. So, do yourself a favour. Go watch the entire Nug video. Yeah, yeah, it takes 5 cans of redbull and a handfull of ativan to get through it, but it does make more sense by the ragged end of it. Never having viewed your first video - and not needing to - I agree with your strong message of "wait and see". The problem in these cases is a double standard: Regular indictments and charges go away if the accused is found innocent and cleared. In cases of sexual abuse allegations, however, indictments and even charges prior to trial are written in indelable social ink, and are therefore tantemount to convictions regardless of what the court and rule of law says. People who've been indicted or even charged - yet found NOT guilty in a proper court of law, will carry the stink for life. It's over for that person unless they get a new identity. This reality truly underscores your wisdom of "Collect your information, form an opinion if you wish, but stay fluid because we never know what we don't yet know". And don't things change in a blink? Don't waste valued time on the detractors. Haters gonna hate right? So why suck up oxygen on someone elses opinion? Save your breath for something important - like your next video. Cheerio. Dude, 😄 I'm really starting to think, NO I KNOW, that there are A LOT of people who make it there day to day mission in bullying, harassing, belittling ANY PERSON that they do NOT agree with, don't like the way they look or dress, are followers NOT leaders, and lack the ability to think for themselves!!! I completely understand you. The cries from the cousin and sister on their Facebook are pretty compelling. Only the court hearing and outcome of it all will tell us who is right or who has the evidence to prove anything.

Jerod Leisek emailed back and forth with one of his alleged victims (his cousin who was 9 or 10 at the time the rape occured).These strings of emails got posted on Reddit. His comment to Nug was that he stood by what was on Reddit. In these emails he not only admitted to the rape, but said it had been done to him first,and that he was over it and tried to apologize to her and offered to help her get over it as well. He has also placed "ALL" of his assets under a trust so he has nothing in his name , meaning he could claim himself indigent, and cannot be sued. Slick and dishonest

It’s good to have objectivity. If the emails are authentic, I think they are based on the rest of the team’s reaction, then I agree, he can rot. But the Johnny Depp case taught us to remain impartial.

Regardless if you have healed from SA or not… you will always be a victim of that circumstance. That’s just the facts. It happened… and you didn’t agree to it. What is important is that you NEVER make someone else a victim. You have to stop 🛑 the cycles of this occurring by educating others and preventing them from being a victim also. One factor that makes me believe that Jared is guilty is that he isn’t speaking out against it, or advocating for others so that they don’t become victims or anything else like that. If you were innocent then you would be able to show how upsetting it would be to be accused of something like this, ya know, like defending your own honor… but he isn’t. And most victims have no reason to lie about being victimized. It’s not glorious for your reputation because society makes you feel bad about yourself for being a victim. Also if Jared is willing to lie to the public to collect enough funds to buy and hide a 1.2 million dollar mansion for himself then ya…. Being indicted means a grand jury decided there is probable cause someone committed a crime. It's basically a formal notice that it is believed the person committed a crime. No disrespect to you sir. I believe in applying healthy skepticism 100%. I also remember that Nug guys video saying Jared said his statement is what is in the emails. I could be wrong I'm just giving my opinion aswell. I was a huge fan and I don't want this to be true. But I've heard the emails are legit and they've been trying to expose Jared for a long time but they always got buried. The age thing can be argued both ways. Him saying he was 12 could be his attempt at rewriting history in hopes she wouldn't remember details like that. Him leaving the country at 16 doesn't mean he didnt come back at 17 for a visit. Like I said I mean no disrespect to you I'm just providing an argument to some of the things you said and what I saw in your comments. I hope it's not true and we will have more info soon enough. I told you in your first video, that I totally agree with you. Innocent till proven. By the way: I always have my doubts, when a lot of money is at stake. Yes A.T.P. doesn't ask anything from the families, but despite that, the organisation gets a lot of money from sponsors, donations, and RU-vid. And why do the girls come forward just now ? Why did Jared end his e-mails with 'sincerely yours' to family members ? A lot of questions.

I watched a video idr who's it was big the "sister" claimed it by Jared and 3 other people.. one laying right next to her friend in her bed it was the friends dad.. who would do that like that and not fear being caught..she ain't ratting out these other people just Jared... and this was all in like 20 mins of her talking. I just dont know what to believe

IF the emails are from Jared, the only thing that is admitted in the email is that they had a crap family and everyone treated each other poorly. He said he hoped she could find peace like others in the family have since growing up. He never said he did any specific act. He never said “yes, I r@ped you”.

I think they're all just trying to defend themselves so they don't lose their platforms. I've watched a lot of the guys' videos, and they do talk in circles. But it seems the basic gist is that they don't want to be associated with SA. It's shocking and sad whether it's true or not.

Didn't see your first video. I've followed awp n Nug for years before they were big. Tbh Nug seems a stand up guy so I would believe him. I know people who have been wrongfully accused and arrested, it does happen , n even though I wasn't the biggest fan of Jared's personality I was gutted when this all came out. The emails really don't look good but until the courts decide and all actual evidence is in the witch hunt of everyone who has an opinion on this should stop.

Hello... I ran across your video on RU-vid, and decided to check it out. It seems that you keep an open mind, and that's great, but I'm a victim of S. A., and I suppose my opinion will be bias... But I seen, and read some comments where people faulted the victims for waiting so long before coming forward. That pissed me off , because.. if you're not a victim, then you don't know what we've gone through. You don't know what we go through every single day. Don't think for a split second, that it ever goes away, or hurt's any less. And as for waiting so long, before coming out with it.... It's a ugly , shameful subject. And no body I know, ever wants to talk about it. So maybe they were brainwashed into not telling, maybe threatened. One other thing… people fail to realize or maybe just don’t know that if a case is presented to a grand jury and true-billed, only the prosecution presents information or their “case.”The defense doesn’t participate in that process. Their decision is based on what the prosecutors tell them

Excellent! Now I have to watch your first video. One of the things that just broke my heart when watching Down Under Dans video was that he said he was on team Jared and how Jared and his family were nothing but gracious hosts to him. He pointed out that AWP is Jared’s business, it’s how he makes his money and he was running it like a business. As he should. Then there’s the gray area of why did he have so much $ and not fix things that needed fixing instead of asking for peoples help and donations. AWP has never charged families for their help in searching for loved ones. Volunteers are just that, volunteers. Employees get paid…you know, like any business would. Down Under Dan stressed that it was a business. Anyway, he said there was no doubt in his mind that Jared is innocent. He went on to discuss his health issues from a disease where the side effect can be a brain tumor and he has been diagnosed with one. Some moron (IMO) commented the the brain tumor was karma getting him for basically being on Jared’s side. That is so wrong. Very wrong. People wasted not a minute to condemn Jared without thinking things thru. If indeed those are fake emails, and I don’t think they can show where they originated from or who wrote them…correct me if I’m wrong…the emails did say that he doesn’t filter his own emails, they are there for anyone to see and his crew had seen them and had no problems with information in them, that would make them equally as guilty and I think that’s why people were saying “they…the team…knew, which they didn’t. People do tend to appear out of no where when someone has money. Even tho the victim says all she wants is justice (rightly so if he’s found guilty) but can you not accept damages in the sum of whatever if that’s what the court were to decide? You glossed riiiiiiiight over the Jared saying the 'emails' are his statement. His statement was his back and forth with his cousin.. which was widely available on Reddit. You say they are fake, Nugs says Jared referred him to them when asked for his statement. I do agree with you about showing the text.. Showing the text would mean showing evidence so dont get me wrong, talking about it doesnt seem smart either, but maybe he didnt show it because it will be used as evidence in court.

Sorry you are being harrassed. Thank you for your outlook. I too, did not even question the emails as not being fact. I would never harrass anyone who believed different. That's the way it's been lately, so sad. The Grand Jury does not sound good, but not proof of guilt. I would like to see proof also.

I understand where you’re coming from. I do not condone what he’s being accused of, but I do believe in a fair trial and innocent until proven guilty. I’ve known many cases of both men and women being falsely accused, some even spent prison time, then got released years later because they were later proven innocent. Online “claims/news” is a slippery slope. It’s all hearsay until it’s proven in court. The entire situation is sad. If he’s proven guilty, he deserves to go to prison 100%!! I pray the truth comes out. No one deserves to be abused, nor does anyone deserve to be railroaded. None of us know the truth at this point. That’s why I’m waiting to see the legal results before believing either side. I pray for all involved in the meanwhile. This is so ugly.

I wote him back in January. So I crossed referenced to verify if they were, it was pretty compelling to me. Also he has been indicted, Which mean state attorney took it to a jury to determine if the evidence was enough for a charge, that is why he's being summoned.. also I have that text it's pretty compelling as well.
