AWS Client VPN allows you to connect from your home or on-premises network using an SSL/TLS connection. It is a managed service which removes a lot of overhead of managing 3rd party remote access VPN solutions. In this video, I'll teach you everything you need to know about AWS Client VPN as well as show you how to set it up with an Amazon Workspaces desktop running Windows 10.

This is truly a great video! One point to note that if one needs to connect to EC2, you do not need to setup VPN. Rather the pem file can be downloaded from AWS EC2 instance page and use SSH (after setting up sg rule). Would. also be nice if you could show at the end how this vpn can be used to say connect to RDS DB.

Thanks for the awesome video, it much helped me clear many of my question. However there is one thing which is still struck in my mind. What the use of a Bastion Host then, if we are using a VPN ? In what cases should a Bastion Host, VPN, Firewall should be used. Can you please make a video on that, explaining different use cases ?

I have some vpn configurations from a 3rd party service, I have to communicate with their service using the VPN configurations How do I do that on AWS, my app is running on ECS. I cant seem to find any materials on this
