Thanks for doing this video. The babies are beyond awesome! The two shown together looked like the one was made with silver and the other of gold. The first female just stunned me. The second male was unbelievable. The whole clutch was hard to believe that they were real.
Those snakes are superb Gav ,,, colours really pop ,,glad your gonna run with the Axanthic line in the future ,,I'm gonny need to throw my name in the hat to get one off ya in the future 😜 👍
Such a gorgeous clutch! Every time I think I narrowed it down to one or two types I really like along comes something awesome and then i can't make up my mind again lol.
Wow. ....your animals are beautiful and healthy. I begged my husband for a snake but he is super afraid of them. I had wild snakes when young. I sure love them. I had water snakes, garter snakes, and a rattle snake. the rattle snake was at our farm and I just kept an eye on it. It was very good at keeping rodent population down. I miss that one the most. my water snake only ate night crawlers. This is back in the 1960s and 1970s. I had Tarantulas too.
Wow! These snakes are beyond beautiful!! I just started watching your channel about a week ago and I really love it. You are so informative, and your passion for snakes shows through clearly. I just got my first snake a couple weeks ago (a pastel ball python) and I am so in love :o)
thank you and thank you for subscribing to my channel. the support from you guys are what makes me keep doing the videos. congratulations on your new pick up 😍
Breathtaking. I recently came up on some very pretty specimens, myself. 3 females to be exact. VPI, Enchi, Axanthic and 2 have multiple genes including the three I have listed. I feel EXTREMELY fortunate.
That means a lot coming from you. Thank you so very much. I have been following your videos very closely. Ever since it was confirmed that I was getting my beauties. I hope to get some detailed videos up soon. Thanks again and allow me to compliment you once more on your beautiful snakes. Cheers!
Kasidee Wg pop over to Brian's shop at bhbreptiles. in my opinion the best reptile breeder in the states, and I challenge anyone to match his passion and energy lol. anyway there is a website that you can browse the animals on.
Hi Kevin. This is an oldy but a goodie. Are you done with the axanthic gene? I enjoyed your early days of breeding. You produced some awesome axanthic stuff
Damn those are some nice visual axanthics you've produced there! What genes are in a snow by the way? Keep up the phenomenal work my friend! If you can Gavin, could you do a future video showing different sizes and ages of your adult snakes and yearlings? Breeders seem to have their preferences in how chunky or thin they keep their snakes, and I would like to see yours and hear your opinions of the topic. Happy egg cutting tonight!
thank you and thanks for your kind words....yes I'll try and do a video on that for you......the snow is made up of albino and Axanthic, but I want to put it in my spider clown project. 👍😁
+Balls2U You're welcome my man and thank for willing to do this type of video for me! I appreciate it so much Gavin! Thank you for describing a snow to me too, and I wish you the best on this 4 gene project. I cannot wait to see you cut these eggs in the future and see the babies, they are gunna look killer too, subbed!
Balls2U just wondering what line of axanthic you use for your collection and why you chose that line over the others. Also what do you think of the new Marcus Jane axanthic? Do you think it’s over hyped or in any way really different from the others? I’m trying to get into recessive morphs especially the axanthic, what would be the easiest or more cost efficient way of producing my very own clutch of axanthic’s?
Bryan Villasenor I use the vpi line of axanthics....... mj line of axanthics is awesome, however we don't have that over here in the UK...... which ever line you choose go for the best example your money can buy..... it would pay you back big time in the future 👍😊
beautiful, I ordered an male yellowbelly 2yrs ago n it turns out to b a regular norm, I was pissed bit now Jake's priceless to me n we will b together forever, I love him to death puppy dog tamed, but I'm about ready to find him his Queen, and I won't a Yellowbelly BUMBLEBEE, nothing else at all, do u think u CLD help me out with that? Also it's time to move Jake outta his 30 gall long, to his forever home, so that the Queen Bee morth can have it like Jake was raised in it, do u think a 55 gal wide is good enough, or should I go 75 because this is it, far as upgrading for him.
I agree that axanthics are a bit under rated, but I believe that's due to them browning out as adults more than anything.... I love how they look as hatchlings but I have yet to see an adult that retains nice color, at least as a normal axanthic
they do brown out but if you get chance look at a adult banana compared to a hatchling banana....the problem is most balls don't keep there colours very well as adults, take a look on my instagram at the Axanthic spider female, she's coiled up....this may change your mind 👍😁
God that spider axanthic and normal is beautiful and I am a big fan of the vpi line aswell after going through tons of forums and I have a very nice big vpi axanthic female that's now almost 3 and still silver and beautiful I have produced nice banana het axanthics and even got super lucky and had her pop out 4 albinos het for axanthic and I never knew they were even possible het albino but after talking to Henry piorun here in Canada I found out he bred alot of bananas and axanthics to hets when he first got them to make as many as possible so I thought that was cool so I did a re pairing of the vpi axanthic female het albino and my banana het albino to get more and see if the 1 baby albino I saved is really a banana albino if more come out like him and I also saved 1 male banana 100% het vpi axanthic/66% possible het and female albino 100% het vpi axanthic so I'm so stoked for that in about 2 years 3 max
I bought a baby vpi axanthic girl raised her up and bred her to a banana male i got from the same breeder and the eggs hatched and i had 3 albinos 3 bananas 1 albino banana all 100% het vpi axanthic and 3 poss het albino first clutch i ever produced so i went and asked the breeder about the pairing that produced them and found out he breeds alot of his stuff to hets as he doesnt have many normal females and this guy is a bigger breeder around here
Well Gav Thanks for that feel very happy I'm bouncing from wall to wall!!!! He's stunning mate. What a snake. He's top of the line snake man. Love the popping colours. Thinking of using him as a template for my logo haha.
Do you still have those 2 females axanthic's. Would love to see them again. I have paired my axanthic female with my banana male. She has to shed, I have seen her ovulate.
Is there any creamy gray colored snake that isn't super expensive? Or just a creamy super light tan color? I've got like 100 dollars I could spend on the snake itself without the wife killing me. Happy wife happy life.. but anyways I really like the spiders color and almost washed out look and I like the color too. I'm just worried as a new snake owner I wouldn't be able to give it the right care if it gets a bad wobble as it ages. I also like pewter but I'm having trouble finding any that are the lighter washed out color here they seem a lot more of a pastel look?
I have a very nice female vpi axanthic I bred to a banana male and turns out both were poss het albino I got 4 albinos 5 bananas and 2 normals 100% het vpi axanthic/poss het albino but 1 of the 4 albinos maybe a banana albino but I'm waiting to raise and breed him as he was the only male he is super faded and the pattern looks like the bananas but besides him I saved a male banana 100% het vpi axanthic/poss het albino and female albino 100% het vpi axanthic for my hold backs I'm super excited about my project and always happy and excited to see axanthics
Thanks and yea she was only 1700 grams when I started breeding her and she maxed at 2400 so I wasn't expecting alot of eggs but she went and had alot of small ones and by that I mean they all hatched between 43 and 48 grams I did hold 3 back 1 male banana het axanthic poss albino and female albino het axanthic and a possible banana albino but he needs to be bred first because I'm on the fence aswell as alot of people I've shown him to
