Thank you I'm restoring my papa's old axes and many of them were from clearing our family farm by hand with them over 40 acrs my pa cleared with them and my favorite one is getting this treatment ....thank u my PA would be proud

Outstanding! As I mentioned in the comments of another video, I am in the planning stages of my first hatchet handle (thanks again for the confidence), I am going to try this amazing cross wedge technique. Thanks again sir! Yes, I do have 45ACP and 22long lol.

Excellent technique!! I love the shape of the handle of that axe! Thanks for showing me how to make the wedge. That is a very smart idea to start with a thicker piece of wood, then use the sander. I was trying to use a saw to cut it into the correct shape, haha!
