@Astuteous Maximus Of course. They are a product of their time, but that's what makes them great. I was born a decade after these movies where released and i love their 80s vibe even though i wasn't even alive at that time. I still hope that Bhc4 isn't going to happen, cause they are probably going to fuck it up.
@@ddaneh3090 Indeed ~ Music, Movies, and the entire gamut of trends were in total harmony. Guess jeans, Ton Sur Ton shirts, Polo Cologne, and a Swatch watch were ideal for the casual date. OP products were huge as well. I still have a Guess blue jean jacket from 1985. Sadly it doesn't fit anymore. It was the exact jacket that Marty McFly wore in Back To The Future; which I saw in the theater in October 1985.
Ah, you have ten years on me, but '86 still feels like a high point for me. Something about being that age in the '80s and all the optimism, we were Dancing on the Ceiling, All Night Long, and you though you could be anything when you grew up. Then the '90s came along and eventually squashed all that and we haven't looked back. Well.... except when we look back.

The vibe I get from this is 'Beverly Hills Cop, but in Miami" Darker, grittier, bloodier, a bad ass strip club, somehow even more cocaine, a bigger mansion to take down with more, better armed men. The local cops Axel works with are Miami Vice officers carrying semi-autos and they pull a Steyr AUG and Uzi out of the trunk of their sports car, one tossing Axel a Mac-10 before going in with him to take on Pablo Escobar's Miami crew. Miami Shores Cop? Not the same ring, but that's the vibe I get from the playlist.
1988. Bikes. Comics. And toys had yet to suck. Good TV was on the decline but not for long. Songs were songs of varying quality but not SJW propaganda or Right Wing Pandering. You could be flat broke but still find a good time. Reagan looked like he might finally get his. And America continued into space even after Challenger's explosion in 85. Food was not politicized. Bad guys were not sanitized. People fought for equality and not for protection from personal or trivial criticism. And there was still hope.
