Guy goes to his parents: "I want to be a master of shakers" Parents: "But son...Do you really want to do that...?" Guy: "Yes!!!" Parents: "Okay, guess our hope for having grand children just went out of the window". Of course, this is a joke. This guy is amazing. I love it when someone goes the extra mile and shows that even the most insignificantly looking instrument can be awesome. :D
Good question. I don´t remember. But it could be a short tube with thin skins on both ends. These can sound muffled (= fingers in contact with the skin) or open (fingers spread away from the skin).
Does anyone know the name of the shaker he uses in the very first of the video. He gets an open sound when he moves his finger. looks like it has holes in the end.
Guy's got chops. I wonder if it would be useful to show folks where the time was initially. I wonder how many think we's just making random sounds . . . .
Hello Axel! My name is Helen, I am student from Moscow, making a short cartoon about Mexicans. Would you like to be my composer? I like your shake instruments! by the way, do you write music?
What's with that mustashe? Facial hair like that is NEVER ok! It's only cool if it's meant sacastically, but he doesn't seem to pull of the 'sarcastically ugly' genre. The shaker-thing was ok-ish, not too entertaining!
