So, after watching, the extra articulation might be hurting the nightcrawlers ability. If the shocks are too soft, the power gets transferred into flex rather than to the ground and the tires won't bite the ground. Finding the right balance of suspension flex can be tricky. I would look through parts bin to see if you have any heavier springs.
I think the big differences are weight and tires. Just picked up the nightcrawler for under 300. I have different wheels and tires already. So I'll see.
I should have got the nightcrawler when I was looking at it at first. $300, can find that under the couch cushions. Now its $350 if I'm not mistaken. Might be $370, can't remember for sure.
Also the hype behind proline predator compound is real they are awesome for woods like you crawl in get swampers predator if your doing rocks hyrax with dual stage dual stage helps so much with axle lock on rocks but the vodoo halo foams are where it's at proline dual stages are good buy halos rock. I got the same tires as you at first and thought they were awsome but when I went with my buddy and he had predator compound he kicked my butt on lines same trucks both pretty much identical get a ryft you will love love it
so youre comparing apple and potatoes here. the night crawler under that new body is the same comp crawler its always been. the capra is a rock bouncer. the losi was never instended to go fast or bash.
I basically quit bashing for the most part I still have them but yea love crawlers I just finished my ryft and did a comp with it yesterday plz get a ryft the value for money is huge makes my capra look like a baby it has your name one it dude mix of bashing and crawler
Same motor same esc. There is nothing even close about the two crawlers. Nothing. Drive system where they were meant to be played with. Nothing. If your a noob looki g to get into the sport buy the axial. If you can test tune and do more than order parts off Amazon you'll love the night crawler. Be better off finding the older tvp chassis not this newer "scale" body
Do not buy the nightcrawler!!! I got mine out of the box literally played with it indoors for five minutes and the drive shaft fell out and I lost a very small piece. I tried to talk to Losi about it they didn't want anything to do with it. Their quality control is garbage. Go with Traxxas or with a red cat Everest. You'll get your money's worth out of them. Losi's customer service is crap.
@@jasonbyrd5150 I think it was a tiny grub pin. Then the actual pin fell out. Luckily I found it and put loctite on the grub pin. After that it never happened again.
@@michaeldrudge902 man unfortunately mine has been such a pain in the ass. Everything I've tried has not worked. I have the parts on order from a main hobby we'll see how that goes. It just blows my mind that they literally gave me no support on their product and it was 5 minutes out of the box.
