We like to surf the wakes of passing boats and move between them to create an endless wave on our hydrofoils. We call this wake thieving. To do so, we need a foil that we can launch from our docks, and pump for a very long time. There are more than 50 hydrofoil brands, and within some brands you can build thousands of unique foils from five main components. We want to find the best foils for the lake, so we’ve setup a scorecard based on the 10 most important criteria.
