Thank you for the video. I just took 10 minute of indoor tunnel flight training and was having difficulty with moving forward, after watching the videos of myself and watching this training video I cant wait to get back in. I was def forcing my chest up instead of squeezing my glutes. When i was trying to straighten my legs to move forward I wasn't squeezing my glutes and this was causing what i call a "wheel barrel affect" the wind would push my legs more up while driving my chest down to the net. I wish I could spend at least 30 minutes a day in the tunnel.
Great video. I was an experienced proflyer before starting my AFF course. They forced me into a boxman position and it was a complete nigtmare. I hoped somebody told me the differences before.
Excellent information... Wish my instructors showed me this video or informed me to squeeze glut-muscles to get proper shape... Thank you for these videos, please keep em coming.
Not sure if this applies to anyone else but I was struggling due to the boxman style, it just didn't work for me. I got into the tunnel and just tried to relax and relearn how to fly with what was comfortable. Turns out I picked up on the Mantis style without being told anything about it and it changed everything about how I flew. Everything just clicked from there on out.
