"Severe generalized sensorimotor polyneuropathy with both axonal and demyelinating features (prolonged right peroneal distal latency and F-waves), more severe in the lower extremity, consistent with patient’s clinical diagnosis of CIDP." I hit the daily double.
Thank you for this, it has been so difficult to find out anything about axonal neuropathy. My husband was diagnosed with AN last year after originally being treated for cidp. Very little information out there, so was relieved to find your video. Thanks a mil.
Thank you so much this was great. Dr., I have idiopathic neuropathy in my feet. Would it be possible to get a telemedicine consultation with you? I couldn’t find anything about that online. Ever since I got a Cortisone shot in each foot two years ago, I have been unable to WALK AT ALL, due to the pain caused by those shots. Before that I could walk. After I could walk, but it would cause a pain flare so bad I’d be up all night for days and now I just have to not walk. Doctors have not helped me to understand what is wrong, They just say it’s in curable. They just did nerve decompression surgery for a Morton’s neuroma. This did not work, it made it a little bit worse. I got it on the on 1 foot, Thankfully. The neurologist said when I asked him if I had axon damage, no I had demyelination damage. That was from my nerve conduction test. However, I have neuropathy only in my feed which sort of goes against what you just said? It’s not all over my body. I am trying to study the research for remyelination. I have finally come to realize the doctors are not going to help me with this. It’s up to me to do study and research. There are people who have healed themselves from demyelination. Some of them have taken a lot of different things, used LLLT, etc., that they studied and researched. THANK YOU! 👍💖👏

Final conclusion was given by doctor " The motor NCS findings of both UL & LL are normal. Low (below average) SNAP's are noted for sural & ulnar nerves which confirm evolving sensory polyneuropathy." Current Feeling are Leg Stiffness, Numbness, Tinglining, Pricking, Plus(tik-tik) sensation & like hold leg fingers by strings feeling...leg weaknesses. Long time standing difficulties. Medicine - Pregabalin 75mg db & just started B12, D3 & Omega3.. Doctor, am i taking right medicine & if I need to get further direction from you. How its possible, since I am in Sri Lanka..!
