It's not true that Christians and Muslims are enemies in Nigeria. I am a Christian and I grew up with many Muslim friends. As kids we all gathered together for Christmas and Ileya for eating (no drinking). The politicians are using religion to garner support, otherwise what is the relevance of Christian/Christian or Muslim/ Muslim ticket to good governance? The current presidential candidates seek endorsement from churches and mosques. One even used fake and paid bishops.
