Y’all the reason why this song is so shocking and amazing to the black community in France is because she is using a Haitian beat called Kompa. Kompa is almost never part of mainstream French music. Never!! It’s like the reggaeton of the French Caribbean. So for her to use this in a way that’s mental, shows she is not an artist to be played with! She literally changed her whole sound after the pandemic! If you don’t believe me watch the African concert she starred in.

C'est du Kompa pas du Zouk. Les rythmes peuvent être confondus, se croisent même. Mais l'usage de la sonaille et le choix de la note des synthés. C'est 100% Kompa Ayiti.

@@TititoDeBologay pas d'accord surtout que le kompa à des passages et des instruments ou samples précis qui sont absents dans ce morceau. Les vrais sons kompas dure bcp plus longtemps. Et pour Finir elle dit bien qu'elle a été bercé par le zouk pas le kompa et ça s'entend sur la plupart de ses sons. Là ou je te rejoins c'est que le kompa et le zouk se confondent.

Non pas de tout, c’est le son de Kompa Gouyad. Zouk has a different rythme that’s very slow. For Haitians we KNOW when the sound is zouk and we also KNOW our Kompa. So for people to debate about this, no question that it’s Kompa

@@k.j.3841 i come from Guadeloupe i can make the difference between kompa and zouk. This is not kompa maybe a few instrumental of kompa on this song but all the song have a zouk influence. Aya said "i grew up with the zouk song" not kompa. Anyway that 2 types of caribean song is close and mixed each other. Easy to counfound

Well I’m very sorry to say, but you must not grew up with Kompa Gouyad to know it’s a very similar sound to Zouk. She has used this before in her performance the Africa Le grand concert bobo. Also, there are a lot of French artist who have used Kompa beats like Dadju “Va dire a ton ex”. I have never heard of a zouk song that sounds like this. It is in fact Kompa

Hi guys ! You should also listen to kery james a faboulous rap singer. He's a french Black guy. His words are amazing, he speaks the truth about problems in France, racism... listen with english subtitles.
