Aren't we all so jealous of his Ayato, rocking a two piece nothing, two piece missing and a one piece disappointment? Absolute perfection, can't get any better. I wish my Ayato was like that (no).

I would highly recommend doing the heart of depth domain because the difference to Echoes of an offering is very small and you also get blizzard strayer artifacts to make your ayaka even better

For the weapon, Kagotsurube Isshin (Kazuha story quest sword) is rly good on Ayato + it looks cool af

for ayato weapon there is amenoma (the craftable inazuma weapon) or the sword from kazuha story quest, btw go for gladiator for the set it s good

For Ayato artifact set, you can go either Gladiator’s or or Heart of Depths. You can go Echoes but I wouldn’t recommend it because the other artifact set is useless to you and the set doesn’t work at a certain ping. You probably already have some good Gladiator pieces but if you farm for Heart of Depths you might get some good Blizzard Strayer for Ayaka as well.

The new sword is good on Kazuha and Kuki Shinobu. It may be useful for future EM scaling sword characters. Farm the Dragonspine domain. That domain is more efficient to farm for both Ayaka and Ayato. You can also use 4pc Gladiator which is also very good on him. As for his sword either Amenoma Kageuchi (inazuma craftable sword) or Kagatsurobe ishhin (Kazuha’s story quest sword)

You didnt have to switch to geo Lumine. You have Albedo. His skill counts as a geo construct. But it seems like you forgot about him.

I recommend getting the sword from Kazuha’s story quest for Ayato. It looks really cook when ascended, and it’s passive is decently good for him. If I remember correctly it’s around 530 base atk with an atk% second stat. Though beware, Kazuha’s quest is decently long. At least, I thought it was, but I didn’t skip dialog.

I think HOD would be more worthwhile to farm. And the sword from Kazuha's story quest, Kagotsurube Isshin could be a decent weapon.

I would recommend farming the Heart of Depth set for your Ayato because I heard that depending on your frame rate or if you have bad ping the effect on the Echoes artifact set might not activate all the time. And if you farm for HoD you also get Blizzard Strayer for Ayaka. Love your videos keep up the good work.

You said the sword might be for an em dps char, and I feel like since Alhaitham is Dendro this might be a good sword for him

ayatos signiture artifact set isnt actually that good on him considering that the buff that it gives is mostly rng and on top of that the buff triggering is ping dependant and if you have 20+ ping its a dps loss. i reccomend using either glad or heart of depth especially because they can be strongboxed

ayato actually works well with both gladiator and heart of depth sets too so it would probably be better to give him one of those since glad u get for free from bosses and u can farm hod with blizzard so a little something for both the kamisato siblings :D at least that way u can use both sets from there unlike the chasm domain drops where u only really want echoes

As an Ayato haver I like Amenoma Kageuchi best on him, it is the most aesthetically pleasing with his outfit and its ATK% with a passive energy regeneration that works really well for his kit~

i would recommend you farm heart of depth for ayato because it is overall more consistent and its the same domain for ayaka so 2 birds one stone

Hey Java! There is a much less painful way to farm for Ayato. Gladiators is pretty good on him and so is the Heart of Depth. Since you need Blizzard Strayer for Ayaka anyway, the Dragonspine domain is very nice for you. As for the weapon, Kazuha's Event Sword is pretty good as well as Amenoma (the Inazuma craftable). The umbrella sword is good on Keqing for Aggravate teams and decent on Kuki for hyperblooms.

for Ayato i'd recommend the Inazuma craftable one, his burst buffs normals (his damage comes from E which SCALES from E skill mainly [even if normals boost it a lil bit ] ) unless you do manage to get a better weapon i'd recommend this one the most

Just a tip for Ayato I would definitely have extra hp on him because his e builds off of it. So if you get a roll in hp it’s perfectly fine for him.

I got Ayato on his 1st banner after losing Venti's 50/50 to new Mona at 58 then getting him 77 then winning Ayato's 50/50 at 16 pity as a f2p

Definitely farm for the heart of depth for him and get some blizzard strayer for ayaka while you're at it

Java should farm blizzard strayer / HOD because HOD is good for Ayato but a lizard strayer would also be good for Ayaka/ Kaeya

ayatos best in slot f2p weapon is actually kazuhas story quest weapon and the amenoma kageuchi is a close second

Some others have said it already, but Heart of Depth (Hydro DPS build) or Emblem (Burst Sub-DPS build) would be a better set to farm for how you intend on using him, as Echos (Auto Attack DPS build) is for normal attacks, which isn't how you said you intend to use him. As for best weapon that isn't expensive to get, Amenoma Kageuchi is the best bet. Congratulations on your Ayato. I hope you'll enjoy his playstyle.

I can relate to the artifact farming. I just pulled Raiden and I have yet to get any good artifacts that she either doesn't have or from the other set I do have Yoimiya but she has a complete set that's maxed out and very good.

Maybe use 4pc HoD or gladiator? They’re pretty similar to echoes in damage, HoD is good to farm bc blizzard strayer is good for ayaka and you can get both from strongbox. It’s also better than creating a new set in this domain with def vermillion pieces everywhere ig

okay so for Ayato I'd say go either HoD or gladiator (since you either get artifs along with Ayaya/Kaeya ones or at least passively via bosses) and for weapon Kazu story quest one or amenoma (I'd say amenoma cause if you ever get a better weapon for Ayato amenoma can be quite a good leftover for Jean)

You really shoud farm Blizzard Strayer domain. This way you'll get HoD for Ayato and set for Ayaka instead of useless on this account Vermilloin.

java, kazuha's story quest sword is rly good for aayato :D also the heart of depth set is very good for him. in that way you can farm for both of the siblings at a same time.

The event from last patch with the combat through the desert shrine used The Flute on him so that'd be a good option for whenever you're not using Kaeya.

Weapons only change their appearance once after ascending, and Heart of Depth is better and more consistent for Ayato + you can get Blizzard Strayer in there

1. you can get amenoma kaguchi sword that is locked behind a quest in inazuma ( i dont think it was a long quest) its i think its the best f2p sword for ayato 2. the event sword will be good in kuki i think and the pasive effects only works at one enemy at the time, its good for bosses but its bad for multiple enemys

I think you do have the correct artifact set, it's the one that came with him and it really is the best. If you go and try out the character it shows that artifact set on him, meaning Hoyoverse put that artifact set for him and they also made him.

I think Ayato's best set is 4pc echoes BUT there's also 4pc Gladiator that could work too. If you want to save materials and farming the same annoying domain over and over again until you get a 4pc...go for 2pc Heart of Depth and 2 PC atk% hope that helps!

Btw: For Ayato you dont have to farm the new set. The 4pc gladiator or the hydro set is almost if not equally as good. You can also mix and match 2 pieces (e.g. 2pc 18% atk + 2pc hydro damage bonus). Farming the echoes domain is very ineficcient (without xiao)..

It's actually funny how similar the primo and pity situation here is to my main account where I am also pulling for Ayato (and waiting for Alhaitham but I guess that won't happen)... without luck for me yet The Flute is good for Ayato as far as I know Now I have Ayato and I'm going to equip him with the Kazuha Story quest sword and not the Flute after all

Please don't farm echoes, it's not worth it, farm blizzard strayer and heart of depth, use kazuha and Bennett together, it'll make fighting the domain easier. He needs att%, hydro damage bonus and CRIT, er is good, personally i like bursting every rotation, but he doesn't need to, that's why, if you don't get enough er to do so, it's actually ok to burst every other rotation

Using glad is probably your best bet for ayato

I suggest either using Blackcliff you can buy for starglitter or using harbinger of down. Both are great f2p weapons(the blackcliff- not so much)

I have my Ayato on a Gladiator's set, so if you have any decent pieces of that, you might try it. I just didn't want to waste resin on that domain. Congrats on pulling him!

For scaramouche’s boss fight, you can find the domain east to Sumeru City, right near the edge. If you are struggling, do not worry, there are videos on RU-vid :)

For ayato consider using the craftable sword from inazuma or the sword from kazuha story quest. Also for his artifacts i suggest to do the heart of depth you can build the kamisato siblings together (stonks) But yout ayato build is so good, i am too jealous right now that i am exploding

Just a little fun fact about that sword It’s based off of a yokai called karakasa It’s a haunted umbrella yokai Search it if your interested but be careful about who sees it because just like with most ghost stories it can be quite freaky depending on the version

the event sword is good on kuki, i use her for hyperbloom so the EM is rly useful and before i got it she was on dark iron sword from that guy in liyue so she finally has a 4* weapon hahaha
