Yes, She is. Shenhe is pretty much Kazuha (extra Res Shred + Cryo%) + Sub DPS (The Quill Buffs + Her Q DPS) in one slot. Like above said, combine Her with Kazuha and She can almost double (or more) Ayaka DPS per rotation.

​​@@hestiasama7626Sorry about the late reply. If Charlotte + Furina is already doing their job well then I don't think Shenhe would be necessary. But yes, Shenhe is a VERY great addition to Ayaka considering She is tailor made for Her, and also free Furina for your other Team. Kokomi, Kazuha, Shenhe is one if not Her most optimal Freeze team to date. Alrernatively Mona and Furina can be used though Mona would need sone quickswqp and Furina would need Stance Change in between rotation. I have Heard Xianyun, Furina, Shenhe, Ayaka is as good if not Better than Kokomi, Shenhe, Kazuha though fron my experience the team is extremely clunky and is not even better in ST (the supposedly it's gimmick) So you might want to consider Xianyun as well to min max Ayaka for ST.

- Yes, non VV setup is generally a lot more comfier, to an extent also a lot more practical for AoE. And indeed the timings for VV setup is very strict. - Yes, TtoDS Sucrose isn't good for Dragonstrike as it's very clunky. Even if it works, the DPS would be worse because you'd be doing less Melts compared to non TtoDS setup (5 vs 7~9) - Only for C0 Kazuha variant. Sucrose variant has better overall DPS among others since you can still do as much Melts as it is in non VV fully Buffed. Kazuha variant on the other hand, has identical DPS output to non VV BUT better frontload DPS however, this assume if you can do 8 Melts in non VV (3 Dragonstrike, 3 E, 1 Q, 1 NA) otherwise Kazuha variant is still far superior to non VV DPS wise despite lesser Melt Hits. There is an alternative setup for VV Kazuha to squeeze one extra Melt putting the team equal with Sucrose though the setup is even more strict and rarely used by players, it is still worth noting.

​​​@@jafaroffmusic7876 depend on which Team, Though generally would be worse (albeit not by much) since rest of the combo wouldm't benefit from Diluc's 15% Pyro bonus passive. In Kazuha usual Setup, it's a huge lose since you would still melt the same amount but with worse Hit. In Sucrose or Diona + Rosaria, Due to you needing to wait a brief moment after 1st E DS to continue your Melt, the Buffs timing become kinda scuffed. If you can somehow get Bennett Q and / or Diona's Buff to snapshot Diluc's Q after your E DS Combo, it'd be simillar, otherwise would be worse since Diluc's Q DMG would drop significantly.

So Sucrose + Diona rotation is (from what I learned and what I saw in your videos): Benny (E) Q Diona Q (Q doesn't remove Bennett's 2U Pyro gauge so possible to swirl pyro after that) Sucrose E Q Diona hold E and Diluc doing 1st E DS IMMEDIATELY I've noticed that if I don't do first E DS immediately then it just falls off somehow By the way, is Kaeya + Diona comp really better for AoE scenarions? Can't say for sure now

My apologize, I can't quite understand 😅 I haven't test Kaeya as much with Diona so I can't say for sure though He is generally worse in AoE due to the lesser Range compared to Rosaria and inconsistency from the lack of CC (which he absolutely needed) plus constant moving and jumping.

there's a reason why c0r1 yelan is considered to be a trap non er wep is hardly practical without c1, she doesn't even need er sand if you can do a good rotation with c1 c1 yelan is basically c2 for furina practicality wise, it eliminates all of their restrictions on top of bumping their respective personal dps

This is an issue with other Characters, not exclusive to Yelan and Aqua. Not even Furina & C6 XQ can Burst every rotation as Solo Enabler without ER weapons and extreme investment, Fav Holder and optimized rotation. I'd argue Furina has it worse since She doesn't have the ability to generate particle for Herself to absorb, so ER sand or ER Wep is essentially a necessity for Her to burst every rotation. Yelan can get around the ER issue with decent rotation like demonstrated by a lot of Diluc and Yelan mains. My Furina has 158 ER with R1 Mistsplitter, and She only able to burst every rotation in chambers like 12-1-1, simillar to Yelan prior to me having Her C1.

@@zadokutah2315 I see Although i never have issues with furina and xq bursting in every rotation but yeah they have er weapons Still yelan feels kinda a struggle to get her burst ready This is with her having er sand and er weapon

​@@legend5343Did you make sure She absorb the particle from Her E? I never had any trouble with C0 Yelan + Favonious Bow in the past. In fact using ER Wep + ER sand was an overkill sometimes so I occasionally swap to HP Sand.

C2 is nice, though imho is not worth it if you already have her at C1R1. Genuinely the only time where i ever feel C2 gave me advantage was back in Baptists Abyss, since it allows me to break his shield faster, at the same time still do DPS allowing me to one rotate it. Even this took me dozen of retries and precisions. If we compare it to C2 such as Kazuha, and Furina, C2 Yelan is not as valuable neither game changer. Aside from the minor DPS increase and faster shield breaking (from the extra 1u), rest of the QoL would only matter if She is used as solo enabler with HT or Yanfei OR you care about min maxing DPS with C6 Sucrose / C2 Kazuha, since Her C2 enable characters like Diluc and Yoimiya to still vape inside the mentioned Pyro Infusion in ST. Tl;DR Not worth unless you absolutely care about min max. Grab C2 Furina instead if you want something worth your buck or true upgrade for your Vape Teams.

​@@cavernman4739i'm also unsure about getting c2 furina (she is also c1r1 atm) since i generally run her with xianyun or kokomi so the faster stack doesn't seem to be needed how much in general is that minor increase roughly? and yes, i often run her with hu tao as solo, either with 2 geo or vv setup with sucrose & yanfei so the c2 woukd fix the lack of aura?

​​@@kross4237You are forgetting about the extra 140% HP (or 40% if I understood it wrong since they worded it very poorly) It is a huge DPS increase for your Team. Given you often run Xianyun, this would means you wouldn't have to worry about Her not applying enough Hydro since Her own Vape DMG would be justified and not necessarily worse. My Yelan (same Build same in Video but with Aqua) Deal an extra 30k every extra proc buffed by Kazuha / Hydro infused Sucrose, so roughly 180k ~280k DMG per Q, higher if you can proc Her Q more often / faster. And yes, C2 Yelan would solve Her issue of aura with HT.

Do you mean 2nd half? I think it's kinda normal to struggle against pyro shields since Kazuha may absorb pyro element instead. It's one of my struggles in Ayaka team too

Yes. Though it's simply to stall and make sure I don't use Kazuha E too early else Kenki would dash away.
