@Agus Yudana WGI is the international circuit for indoor winterguard, percussion, and winds. SCPA is short for Southern California Percussion Association. (SoCal circuit) its considered by most the most competitive circuit outside of WGI since they have most of the best ensembles in the nation. It's almost safe to say those who win SCPA and go to WGI championship are guaranteed to place at least top 3 in their division. In fact, 3/5 of the top PIW groups in WGI participate in SCPA.
Also fun fact the two previous times Ayala won SCPA Chino Hills over took them by 1 place at wgi, and the two times Ayala won WGI they came second to Chino Hills at SCPA.
It’s crazy that they won state. Finals will def be interesting this year. Can’t say who’s gonna win but top 3 will def be some combo of Ayala, Chino, and Avon
It's really hard to say, Dartmouth is always a factor to consider but since they compete by themselves it's really hard to properly gauge how they stack up.
@THEnelsonbruhs that's what I'm saying it's really hard to know. Historically, their scores are always high in their local circuit. Most of the time, it's inflated, but sometimes it's not. As for myself, I respect their history enough not to write them off until all the scores are in.
