@thsma2009 generally speaking, most high school winterlines due to the velocity of the drill start with a 16 inch bass drum as bass 1 making each drum behind it 2 inches smaller in diameter. Therefore the bass 4 in marching band becomes the bass 5 in winterline
@thsma2009 hahaha ok. I dunno why but we just have one that stays in the instrument room until Winterline comes around and then we switch out the biggest one for it! It truly is a strange concept..
Being Caleb's last year with them, Goodbye was a culmination of everything they've gone through together. The love just naturally pouring out of this show is real, and that combined with the quality of the show itself makes for a performance that touches the heart. It makes me smile and cry, as this Goodbye echoes a call I've made from my heart to my friends I love who perform in Ayala now.
we only have one instructor. and this last season he got in a car accident and didn't even come for like a whole month. and our director doesn't hire a new instructor....we had to teach ourselves
@HeavenlyTennyo I totally agree. This show is killer. It's a great way to end a wonderful run there. I was on staff with the marching band 99 to 01. It's a wonderful place to work. The staff and the kids were great. I miss working there.
i dont know. our school just doesn't have lots of money. maybe they dont force the parents to donate enough haha. and our instructors are like regular people who are good. not crazy scv or blue devils people
this school has all the hot asian girls! i'm so jealous!!! i swear there is not a single bad looking asian girl in their drumline. i should go there, CHHS is full of uggoes...
i know right?? not only are they good looking but they are good. if theres girls in my school's line, then they are playing cymbals, and they can't even do flips
Just letting you all know that this show was one of my few favorites in WGI Championships 2009. I hated to see you guys get robbed of a medal like that, you definitely shouldve beaten Chino Hills in my opinion. Good luck at Dayton in April, I cant wait to see what you guys put out on the floor.
