I think in due time when software updates and features are added that it will match or exceeded the Odin 2 in terms of functionality. Especially regarding the snapdragon G3X G2. If the community is just as active for ayaneo as it is for any then I think that, even if it becomes a niche, it could be more specialized. What I like is that Arthur is relatively easy to communicate with and takes feedback and involvement from the community seriously which could be an edge overtime.
I’m not sure if this is better than the Odin 2. Emulators haven’t caught up to the power of the Odin 2 yet and with years long delays in getting emulation on PS2 and Switch improved beyond where it is today I have a concern that the Odin 2 at today’s performance may prevent the industry from advancing further for a while.
