The better way to illustrate this scene would have been to simply have two AI's play the game against each other once the captains took over. I know they didn't have a professional chess player on standby to make this scene, but there's no reason they could have just made literal computers play against once another. Heck, they could have just fed the board information into something like "next best move" for each turn.
I was disappointed with the chess game. That was not a brilliant game. Instead of Sakayanagi's move Qxf3 (Queen on g4 takes Horse at f3), she should have move Bxf3 (Bishop on c6 takes Horse at f3) because this move is an unstoppable victory for black. Ayanokoji played a losing game. Ayanokoji's move Nxe7 (Horse on f5 take Horse on e7) was a big blunder for Ayanokoji. The author did not study this game thoroughly. A big flaw in anime adaptation.
The Author didn't even specify moves in the Light Novel, this was an Anime Only addition cause just dialogue would have felt off. Bro went full 🤓 not even knowing that Kouji's move was a false one made by a third party to make sure he lost the match.
@@radhakirshan20Qh3 and you have no defence against Qg2 mate. Anime showed only how the last move had been changed, but if you look for true computer analysis of this game you will see how many mistakes they both made.
they should've copied a gm"s game instead of that sh*tty game like it's hard to take both of them seriously as this supposedly geniuses if I (a 900 elo player) can easily tell that I had better games than those, they should've atleast be around 2000+ elo
3:11 So... My elo is around 900-1000. I am not the best. But even I know that knight to e7 is a hard blunder. Rook takes knight and if white queen takes the rook. Black bishop can take the knight on f3, making it a forced mate with queen to g2. Please correct me if I am wrong.
white was heavily losing anyway, Sakayanagi kinda blundered playing Qxf3 while Bxf3 existed and basically forced mate, since the only defense g3 doesn't work because of Qh3
@@squish628I don't think she was losing. White could have taken the rook instead of the knight. Then tried the rook trade by moving Rd1. The only losing move was taking the bishop with Ke7 because than queen can no longer defend the f3. Edit. Nevermind. Then black can defend with Bf6.
Most of the game was played by horikita, except like the last few moves. If ayanokoji was playing from the start, things would have been different. Also, this is anime, how do you even expect a gm level game in an anime? Neither the author nor the animators are gms in chess.. so its natural.
@@siraj_a.r.411you don't need effort or money to just get a GM game feom online (they are there for everyone to see!) in fact it takes less effort to copy paste a game from online than to make up a garbage game with illegal moves and blunders... Like they say, a character can only be as smart as the author of the said character..
