I had a James Captain with 200cc AMC engine, it regularly popped a bolt from the clutch plate and shoot me in the ankle😂 it came through the casing and I was isopons favourite customer
Hi Henry and Sam , great to see you guys again with the lovely bikes , question Henry , are you taking part this yr in the DGR Oxford ? 22nd May , all to raise awareness to mens mental health and prostate cancer, being a biker you will know this , hope to see you at the start in Wootton , all the best , Mitch ( Fiennes’s restoration) 👍👍
I'm 71 and my first motorcycle aged 14yrs old was a James Comet 98cc which I bought with my paper round money. I later passed my test on a 150cc James Cadet. They were not fast, but they were great fun to ride.
your a great guy buying & selling these old items wouldnt minded the matchless bike but never mind keep up the good work restoring these old machines cause every time you get some thing nice makes me wander what kind of things I could pick up from auctions also weve not seen the misses lately or the old dog .?. does the wife not like being out with you but leaves you with the dog ?
Those for the kind of low horsepower motorcycles that first time Riders learned how to ride a motorcycle with. You learned everything with a small bike and you took those lessons with you when you moved onward to a bigger bike and that little bike you learned on someone else learns how to ride on it.
