The caption actually says “hip hop artist,” not rapper. Hip Hop has ALWAYS been about dance since the days of b boys and break dancing. Rap is just one element of hip hop culture.
@@American_Boy It's true that rapping was just a part of it. But 1-The dance part wasn't the most important, graffiti, DJ-ing and MC-ing were as much. 2-She ain't poppin' and lockin', is she? Her dancing have nothing to do with break dancing. 3-Nowadays when people say "Hip-hop artist", particularly on BET, 99% of the time, they do mean "rapper". Let'd keep it a stack and not play on words. Plus, you talkin' about the culture? She's admitted not really knowing Wu-Tang recently, so that's some "hip-hop artist" of the year right here...
