French is my language, I'm black born, living in Paris and I saw the video with Ayesha crying and her people upset. I Hope the baby was not struck. Yes, we have our issues with the police. So, to give better context, what had happened was The President of France was about to pass through. So, police had blocked off the roads. Ayesha and Sonya had tried to cross to get to their car because their driver was waiting on them. Police told them to wait 5 to 10 minutes max, but Sonya was trying to force her way to get to the car, causing police to stop them, which led to all the commotion. If the baby was hit in the process, it’s wrong. When I was living in the USA, and I recall that it was the same when the US president was in an area: you wait until his vehicles are cleared.
Exacltly, failing to comply with the law have some consequences, no matter who you are. All came from the mother trying to force president Macron security.
Thanks for explanation boss🫡 if it was truly 5-10 min wait then they should just wait the time, I would understand their frustrations if they waited longer than 15-20 min id say
Shut out to the boy, Draymond Greene, real partner, real Homie, real friend for coming to his player partna’s , wife and families aid in their time of need and standing on business super salute 🫡
I agree 💯that’s what a family is about. That this world is sue happy they just upset cuz curry shooting 3 back to back 💯. U hit a baby on the head and all u get is a sorry he’ll no 🤔🥹
@omotayosatuyi252 what you call an assault may not be one in other countries and this is in France not in the USA. The baby seems calm and not crying so I guess if the police officer touched him it wasn't that hard.
You ain't getting s*** you're in another country😂 they hate Americans the French hate Americans do you not f****** know this how long have you been in this world😂😂😂😂😂😂
I hear they are horrible over there. Lot of racial profiling. There is a young Jamaican athlete who claims she was assaulted by a security guard. I have to yet go and revisit the video.
@@4dogsannacat I'll give them the benefit of the doubt like I would like to be given and say it was a communication breakdown somewhere. Still I think the mom could have shown better behavior. What a b*tch?
According to the report, French police held them up (as well as other people), because French President was exiting the area. We do that for U.S. President too either in the U.S. or abroad.
Or may be it was because French President was exiting the game, so everyone, including the celebrities and their family members, got held up. We do that for U.S. President too either in the U.S. or abroad.
Policemen denied access to secure the road for the French President who was passing, they told her to wait 5 to 10 minutes but she wanted to pass anyway...that's just what happened there
@@Jackster31 Americans have priority when we are Traveling anywhere in the world. Don't you dare tell us we cannot go where we want. Macron has minimal credibility in his own country. USA ALL THE WAY!
You left out the very important fact that the French police officer assaulted a newborn baby. They were told about the Presidential road block AFTER the officer assaulted the baby. They were told by security that their vehicle had to be parked away from the venue. They parked in their designated area AS INSTRUCTED. The area is designated for Olympic traffic. Initially, they were confused why they were being denied access because that’s where their parking was designated. This still gives NO RIGHT for their officer to place hands on a baby. What heathenry to try to ever justify touching/hurting a child
Oh my! Someone finally acting appropriately in an awkward situation. What an example for all of mankind. She's like the Rosa Parks of the People in Public Acting Normally movement
I am French, the policeman tells Stephen Curry's mother that he did not touch the baby, then the officer says that the road is blocked and that they have to wait 5 to 10 minutes. For the rest, as we don't see anything from the beginning, I would be careful not to draw any conclusions whatsoever. For the little scathing comments on the fact that you made us miserable in basketball, here we are happy with the great performance of our team and we praise the good part of the USA team who deserved their great victory. In short, we don't all mix as certain...
Liar, we don't believe a damn word of this and it's a known fact that the police there do not like Americans, especially the ones of color and high status who so happen to crush your hopes and dreams. This was pure bitterness nothing more nothing less so stop the bull💩

But Steph’s mom told the officers that they were simply following directions. However, then they got in trouble for following said directions. That’s the issue, that along with a language barrier.

Look how they are trying to take the medal back from the gymnast. The US says over our dead body. They failed to do their job correctly the 1st time and now they want the gymnast to pay the price on some technical rule about being 4 seconds late as opposed to the 1 minute rule as opposed to just saying we screwed up and failed to give her points for such an obvious known move that she in fact had done. Turns out the US kept their own receipts too and can show the protest was lodged within 47 seconds which means they in fact did meet the deadline. Guess they played that one all wrong. The right thing to would be to allow her to keep the dumb medal anyways and to what you want with the white girl and her crocodile tears.

Too many moving parts. An event this big being held internationallyn a lot worse things could've happened. Glad that's all that's happened. No one sustained significant injuries or worse.
1) They couldn't go through because the french president was leaving the venue - they just had to wait 5 mins 2) I can assure you nobody in France knows what Steph Curry's family looks like - the police men had probably no idea who they were dealing with 3) Nobody in France is mad after loosing against the US basketball team, everyone (people, media etc...) knew France would lose, so calm down there are no vandetta against the US here 4) Nuit nuit doesn't make ANY sense in french, yes Night night means something in english but in French it makes no sense (as if someone would say "day day")
What am I missing? She can't wait 5-10min until the president of the country security team does their job? and then put a young one in harms way? Why? Because she is the wife of a basketball player?
Ummm, that's not it you moron, they hit the damn baby in the head because they were obviously too close to Ayesha which is ridiculous being that close in someone's personal space like that and the baby is literally laying on her chest so how are you that close?!!! You really should know all facts before making judgements. I'm sorry they were inconvenienced 5 or 10 minutes, but this really boils down to entitlement. Their country's president's motorcade was coming through. Everyone was denied access. It was not personal. My similar experience happened when a campaigning president came thru our town and roads were closed down. I had my 3 month old baby and 3 and 4 year old daughters with me. I wasn't nagging security to let me through and wasn't crying. National security & the security of a country's leader will always take precedence. No one was in danger. You're not special. Sorry. Not sorry.

Unless they initially felt that they were too important to wait like us mere peasants, I think that the issue was that they were told they couldn't walk straight through and given instructions to walk around a different way, but then were told that they couldn't walk that way either. They probably wouldn't have had an issue with waiting even still until the baby was hit in the head. However, Daimon needs to be grateful that the incident was recorded.
How is it entitled? The incident occurred because they were following directions given to them by officials. When they tried to follow directions, they got in trouble. If you’d actually listened, Steph’s mom was telling the police that they kept getting different directions as to what to do by different officials, like the officials weren’t on the same page.
