Agbaletu, thank a lot for bringing Pa Emmanuel with wonderful memories, He look 60-70 to me. A lot of revelations from him concerning wrong information out there especially on Ayinla Anigilaje Omowuramotu.
What an incredible interview. It was truly inspiring to hear Pa Odenusi's wealth of experience and deep involvement in the industry and his invaluable contributions to making a lot of our music veterans. Thank you for bringing this interview to us and highlighting the invaluable contributions of this unsung hero behind the scenes. Keep up the fantastic work!"
Great Interview - shame EMI never had the foresight to make any visual video or recording of Omowura. maybe if he had travelled to London this would have been possible.
Great work, Agbaletu! Your interviews with brilliant minds have been outstanding. I have a suggestion for an interviewee you might be interested in. His name is Prince Oluwole Oyebamiji, a seasoned TV and film producer. He has an impressive portfolio, having produced popular TV soap operas such as "Omo Odo," "Arelu," "Agbaarin," "Ifa Oloko," and many others. I believe that people would be eager to watch this interview and glean valuable insights from his vast experience in the film industry. Thank you!
An excellent program from our very own Baale. More strength, More Progress. So many misconceptions about Omowura personality and characters, especially from those elite reporters and journalists of those days. There's no musician without any form of rascality, but Omowura own was so high rated because of the type of fanbase that enjoyed and accepted his music. This an opportunity to get more details on who' Julius Araba was. This Baba can throw more light on Araba background and may likely have a link to any of his survival relatives.
Dele, Baba can not Japa by then, cos Nigeria's currency 💲💵 was better than that of USA , only UK pounds is ahead of Naira.... Until 1986 tail end when IBB adopted second tier (SFEM) system that eventually killed Naira...
Agbaletu! Thanks for this, but note that speaking English is not necessary especially with elderly people like this, except the one who couldn't speak Yoruba, at least it will safe your own valuable time and make the interview a meaningful one. My view👌 U did a great job though, well done.👊 Thank you Baba Odenusi agba yin a dale
Age is not a decider of one's language in my opinion. Meanwhile, there was a natural flow during the entire chatty session. No rigidity. Thank you so much sir.
I sent the Johnson Ademilokun's number to you like 3 times for an interview back then Well, the late uncle to Beautiful Nubia died about 2 or 3 months ago
I have watched a lot of these interviews and one area that keep sticking out for me is the lack of emotional intelligence by the interviewer. I see him talk to this old men in a commanding tone, prompting them to say what’s he wants to hear sometimes and telling them to their face he knows better than them. As guests who has accepted to support his work, I feel they deserve some respect. @Dele Adeyanju, I respect you and I enjoy your work. Please take this as an honest feedback, in my opinion. More grease to your elbows and thank you for the work you’re doing.
Agbaletu u tried, but to advise u our ppl more, why our yoruba language s too ridiculous to the extent that it can ñot be speaking fluently n yoruba programme again?this kind yoruba history progràmme should've been a programme where a pured yoruba language should be speaking to be attracting we youth nd indicate that yoruba culture s décent nd useful,it wl even add more value to the history ñd ur programme bcoz it s yoruba programme not english programme
Other programs by other fantastic presenters cater to the area of language. This has been my style since I started this career 20years ago. Kindly accept me as I am. The program is not designed to teach language, it is created to bring back reminiscences of our music. Ese gan ni o.
