This comment doesn't make sense, Even osama was engineer did it made him wise man? no. There a problem in our society, we consider person with degree or having some level of fluency in English is educated and he is sole person that can lead the country. Education is important, but the argument uneducated person doesn't make sense at all. Even in history we had great leader, they didn't have any degree or not even speak fluent english, still they went on to make reforms in society. I think the argument uneducated person show your envy towards a person who has achieved so much without following conventional path, which you did and suffered and didn't manage to go and achieve anything. So target the person with things that doesn't make any sense with particular context. My question to you what makes a person educated, if PM gets 100% in particular field, does it make him wise enough to make decision of social issues? Why highly educated IAS, IPS officers go on to corruption, if their sole purpose is to manage proper functioning of the system.

Education also means having Moral Values and Ethics like Honesty, Truthful Ness, Integrity etc virtues. And this applies to each and every person in the society. But if a person is holding the highest post they are expected to have these qualities the most.

In my childhood i used to proud of this country by studying about the freedom fighters but when I came to know about the current situation of the country, I am ashamed and want to leave this country because I gave neet 2024 the paper scam is just breaking my all the confidence and seeing the judgements of our judges making me more furious and angry, I just turned 18 years old last month and they are doing this shit to the youth and talking about 1975 emergency... I mean running away from the problems is not always the solution. The Modi government plan was to remove reservations and include meritocracy but you know how it turned out when the opposition used his plan against him by brainwashing people that Modi doesn't care about marginalized people. Btw, The government is doing reforms in the education sector as well. Go and do some research on new education policy 2024. The education system is flawed as of now in India but I believe it will improve a lot in the future. Any reforms or improvements takes time to happen and the government is definitely working on it.

The Subansiri dam, after so much protest, hasn't been completed in years and already has become death trap. Major highways in Assam, were already done before 2014. Now there are toll gates everywhere and unnecessary overbridge construction, major source of pollution. Most of the tenders for these construction goes to Assam chief minister's cousins family, and every office worker knows, 10% of every infrastructure cost directly goes to the CM. They spend hundreds of crore in 1 km overbridge, no quality and half money goes to the corrupt CM, Adani and Ambani groups. This is the story of my state. I wish they gave some of those money to starving researchers of India.

Liked your comment but you have listed Poverty Elimination as "6". Am an Indian migrant who chose to live in Europe/my late mother in the fifties lived in dire poverty when she was a child. At the time of her death in 2010 Poverty was still as bad as it was in her childhood. Successive Indian govts. have done zero to lift ppl out of poverty in today's India. Indians 3rd largest migrants in the world fleeing poverty, in the millions not wars to Christian West.

China is putting hell amount of money on R&D in almost all sectors. some scam is part of democracy and some part is Indian mentality. quality is poor because the contractor has to give a cut to the local people and also to the govt agents. how much it takes to get the bills paid on time? Cost escalates because the project is not completed in time but the people and machines have been hired. Project is not completed in time because the money is not released on time. Money is not released on time because the inspection and certification was not done on time. Money was not released on time because the finance has diverted the sanctioned funds for other works. CAG office in Delhi has a beautiful tennis court in front. True I have not seen people playing during office hours but surely money is spent to maintain it.

Thanks for showing the data for R&D. I've been thinking of asking you to cover this aspect for a long time. During my Ph.D. time, I used to hear from all the professors that this Govt. is cutting down / shutting down all R&D funds. Now, many researchers are directly experiencing the adverse effects. The truth is these types of subtle things cannot be understood by 99.9% of people who will vote, as rightly pointed out by Deshbhakt. Still, I would like to request Deshbhakt to cover the Govt. funds of India in R&D, academics, and medicine and compare them with other countries in great detail. Jai Hind!

I traveled by Vande Bharat once. While compared to older trains in India it is a good train by looks but from global standards many countries have such trains. It is nothing special. On top of it the train ran slower than other trains on the same line like Deccan Queen. Also while there was an uncle who shouted 'Jain Hind! jai Modiji' while train was approaching the platform no one bothered that there was tons of garbage lying next to tracks as we approached Mumbai. People were just full of pride that windows were big.

The mindset of Govt. Should change and must focus little bit on respecting the tax payers.... Today what is return are we getting after paying tax... Fallen roof of airport, flyover collapse, etc.. And inspite of all these incidents no action is taken against these companies. Then what's the point in paying tax when nothing is done for the people who are paying tax..... It's better to play smart and show the government it's "Aookadh".... And it's reflected in this election as well..... Finally I request @Deshbhakt to make an episode on why minimum wages are not given to the people and due to this talent is not able to survive in INDIA. Government should focus on 1.healthcare facilities 2. Food quality (as we recently heard about cancer causing chemicals in some spices) 3. Natural resources management (water, soil, nature) 4. Improve quality of education, skills development, increase good Institutes
