LOVE Ayreon! Arjen's music is such a fun rabbit hole to explore, and such a great way to discover other bands, as well! Not to mention it's brilliantly written.
As always, a great way to spend a few sleepless minutes. This song's drums and bass capture a wonderful/driving feel... the kind of thing I used to feel when playing aggressive acoustic Celtic stuff (e.g. Bothy Band).
Joost the piano player is also the producer of Epica, and many more. He is also an ex-member of After Forever together with Floor and Mark Jansen (Epica) - has played the piano on After Forever and Floor's rendition of Alone (heart cover).

I love Ayreon, it's like meeting my favourite musicians in one place! And I really enjoy the music and the production! 😎 speaking about Hansi, I suggest the live performance of the song "Somewhere far beyond": in my opinion, that album is the peak of their carreer!
The new Blind Guardian song 'American Gods' is really great. I also love Hansi. The Live songs from Ayreon Universe have been cut-down by Arjen, to fit more in. If you listen to them on the Albums, they are much longer. The best bit about the Live Ayreon Concerts is how much fun they all have.
@@TranScripting Hansi and the entire band are gigantic book geeks. They have songs about Lord of the Rings, The Wheel of Time, A Song of Ice and Fire, The Eternal Champion, and more! Ride into Obsession and The Wheel of Time were such amazing songs with intriguing lyrics that I started reading the books. No regrets, the series is amazing, lol.

You know why most of these guy are so nice and aproachable ? Because they are all "nerds". They are not the cliche that maybe is true some US rockstars who are all just school bullys who got rich and now bully still everybody because they can. No these symphonic metal musician are the nerds who were maybe bullied when they were young, and the love comics and even Disney (hello Tuomas), and most of their lyrics are also more like Dungeons & Dragon than about beeing the supercool gangsta rappa 🙄
Many mainstream pop and rock stars come from wealthy and/or well-connected backgrounds to begin with. It's not often "got rich" so much as starting two steps from the finish line. (There is a similar tendency with actors.)

This song is from the 01011001 album. In this song the Forever, having ruined humanities future because of their interference, decide to share time travel technology with humans so that they can change their future and save themselves from destruction. I would also checkout anything from the Electric Castle live show. Love Amazing Flight and they have John De Lancie (Q from Star Trek) as the Narrator/ Forever character. The Forever are the humans that escaped Alpha in the Source album and achieve immortality. They are based on the Q from Star Trek so that is why having the original Q in the show is so cool. For most recent Arjen checkout the new Star One album Revel in Time. Lost Children of the Universe and Fate of Man are my favorites. Joost played keyboards for Floor during a couple of promotions of her song Fire on Dutch TV and Radio. During the radio show the host asked Floor to sing the phonebook (as many of us have said she could). Arjen is right now working on remixing a old double album called Universal migrator, remixing(not remmaster) well a remaster you can make in a few hours, a remix takes months.. he though he could perfect it he said, and also found some old sound files he is gonna put in there, well typical Arjen, he see he can perfect something, and he do it, perfectionist..lol Joost van der brock, is actually a man, you would be amazed if you knew the bands he produce for, its a lot of your favorite bands im pretty sure, the guy is everywhere...
Haha you're lucky that Arjen can't sit stlil and makes a lot of new music, also he has a very long career. So you won't likely run out of material to react to :P. Looks like you reacted only to the universe show, (2017) right? The Into the electric castle show (2019) is even better I think :). And Arjen plays a role there actually as the Hippie. Though it doens't have floor or maggy luyten but it does have simone simons and fish (ex marillion) :D

Очень странная настройка микрофонов у вокалистов, как будто компрессию вообще забыли добавить. Отсюда такой плоский и невыразительный звук, хотя на альбоме все как надо сделано. Одно из немногих провальных выступлений на концертах Арьена, хотя музыканты тащили как могли. Советую послушать альбомы в удовольствие до записи реакций на концерты, потому как концертные отличаются составом вокалистов и воспринимаются отлично от альбомных версий. А ещё есть полноценная рок-опера "The Theater Equation", целиком составленная и поставленная из шестого номерного альбома Ayreon "The Human Equation". Реакцию на него, конечно, забанят, но интересный опыт был бы для подписчиков канала. Эмоции точно будут обеспечены.;)

Subtitles are also helpful for those with hearing impairments or auditory processing disorders. They are a hugely positive addition to any audio/audiovisual content. That said, you are asking extra labour of someone who is putting out content to the public for free, or asking them to pay the costs of hiring a professional to do them.

In a nut shell, Ayreon- loves to collaborate with other musicians. As you watch more of this band, take close note to people you see, singing and playing instruments. Alot of them you will recognize.
