Aysgarth Falls - England's Best Waterfall?

Is this the best waterfall in England? What makes something the best anyway? Surely, as is often the case, the 'best' just happens to be the one you are stood in front of at the time. So aside from the standard algorithm friendly title, what can you expect from this video?
Aysgarth Falls are a series of waterfalls and cascades in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. The falls are simply beautiful at any time of the year, whether the trees are full of vibrant greens or as bare as they were on our latest visit. The lower falls offer some simply stunning viewpoints for the more adventurous photographer with the oppourtunity to shoot low over the water to capture some wonderful textures.
So, whether these are the best or not, they are right up there. Beautiful. Powerful. Breathtaking.

Depends on water level. I visited the site twice, the first time the water level was good and made for really good shots from various locations around the falls. My second visit last year was disappointing as the water level was low and very difficult to take away any shots. Excellent video by the way.

Thank you. We’ve been a few times now and it’s always had good water levels. I did wonder how it faired after a dry spell. Also not sure if the water levels are controlled upstream. I particularly like the variety of shots that it offers and unlike a lot of our falls it isn’t overwhelmed by surrounding woodland
