Another small correction: Metallic Mimic enters the battlefield as the chosen type (because the ability is stated to choose AS it enters), meaning the Mimic would've triggered Ayula. Now it doesn't trigger a commander like Edgar Markov because his is a cast trigger not an ETB

Small correction: Tombstone Stairwell makes Zombie tokens for everyone each upkeep, not just the turn player. Probably would have changed that last turn rotation
Got to use that card in my Elenda deck for the first time not so long ago. We made the same mistake, which probably costed me the game since I lost a lot of death triggers for my Blood Artist and other effects. Really fun card nonetheless and my absolute favorite card in my Elenda deck!

Tombstone Stairwell has all players creating tokens on every upkeep, that are sacrificed during the end step. Max may have been able to survive if he did create those tokens.
I got a Thromok deck and it's quite fun....but almost never goes off cuz it's too freaking slow XD Gotta make small creatures first before making the big boy Wurm and 'Fling' it at someone's face. I rly wanna make a Nikya of the old ways deck as well. Maybe i will put Neyith in it as a utility creature :).
Hey I’m trying to get a commander gameplay channel started myself, and I was wondering what kind of setup you use to film these? I’m looking for cheap ways to be able to get that overhead shot, do you have any tips?

I played like 7 times with my bear deck. Love the flavour, but the deck relies too heavily on the Ayula (ofc) and bears don't do shit without the commander on the field. Was way too much of a hassle for me to pump it all up and see it all blown to pieces by boardwipes.
A bears tribal deck is surprisingly budget! Minus some stuff like concordant crossroads you can make a bangin tribal deck for around 100$ or even less depending on how synergized you want it
@@zachw3548 Under €100 would be decent. €/$ are about the same atm. I think it would be a fun deck to have for when playgroups are playing at a lower / more casual power level. Edit: if you have a deck list I'd love to see :)
I have an Ayula bears deck, and yeah, making it work can be pretty cheap. This deck in the video had some expensive lands that I don't have, like Gaea's Cradle, though. I did spring for the bear in Portal 3K for it, Razorclaw Bear.
These were filmed while Ottawa was in a "yellow zone" which allowed for safe gatherings outside. We filmed in my garage, spaced out, with lots of air circulation and wearing masks.
