Quick & easy to make Ayurvedic facial: by Greens Ayurveda
Total 5 steps:
The first is to cleanse the skin, to rid of impurities. Here we cleanse with curd
Then comes the scrubbing which removes dead cells, prevents clogging of pores and improves circulation.
Scrubbing is done using Sashtika rice- (a special rice) and milk
Next is Steaming which opens up pores & loosens dirt for a deeper cleanse. Softens blackheads also.
It is done with water boiled with neem leaves
The 4th step is Application of facial mask. It is intended to nourish the skin & is also therapeutic.
We use a combination of Shastika rice, Multani Mitti & Milk. It gives sudden lustre and glow to the skin. Mask should be kept till dry ( up to 30 minutes- but depends)
Remove soon after by wetting and mild massage.
The final step is Moisturising. This improves skin hydration and forms a protective film. We are using Rose water as moisturiser.
