You must have heard your idol say he liked AZ although he has always been a very underrated rapper he appears to be a cool dude with that said you heard your idol say that so for you it was time to regurgitate and take your idols words to heart
That was an example of how we should handle things. Classy like a real boss should. If we’re going to be up in arms every time someone says something about us, it shows our lack of understanding of how to de-escalate minor matters that could become major ones. Nuff respect for AZ.
AZ drops jewels and he knows the rules of engagement and warfare he knew what 50 was doing. Like he said if you bring my name up I'm doing something. Just don't cross the gun line,I'm not going to play with that.I like the fact that you don't see alot of dudes around AZ.
I guess you missed that 50 lived on the other side of the gun line 😂😂😂😂 maybe you need to listen to all the Ogs talk about 50 back then 😂😂😂😂he had niggas scared in real life
@@thehighestlevel4374there are some people walking around who will force you to kill them. You don't antagonize someone who's ready to die if you're not prepared to be the one to kill him
@@thehighestlevel4374you heard your idol say that so for you it was time to take your idle words to heart and regurgitate everything he said about AZ you guys got to stop Idol worshiping these people 😂😂😂😂 🤡🤡
@@thehighestlevel4374 50 aint playing aith no brooklyn niggas , especially east new york / Brownsville now go ask your OG’s about that. FiF aint stupid thats why he got a gang of ENY/ Brownsville niggas with him and brooklyn tatted on his neck.
A lot of people don't know but AZ is super nice wit his hands.. definitely aint no push over and he was known to get busy.. never on no extra tough sh-t tho.. carry himself like a real g
Az really is up there with Nas. From there work together with the Firm even though short lived. The features on both of their own projects together. Although AZ isnt as praised Nas like other greats. Az is definitely on that level with the greats for HipHop.
Only way 50 knew to pay homage to his heroes or young artists he fuck with without putting em in his pocket was to throw a shot at em .......welcome to the race I gave you a lane
that’s probably because it’s more to music than just lyricism…some folk go for the vibe while some go for the lyrics…to each is own whatever resonates with the individual
This was one of the more lowkey, under the radar "beefs" people rarely speak of(or even know about). 50 doesn't even bring this one up. It was such a weird and out of nowhere beef that then went nowhere.
Understood the verbal jab was just a part of the biz nothing to take personal and saw it as a salute to what he's done in the game... that's how an MC responds 🎤🔉🔊💪🏽✊🏽👊🏽💯
Laid back cool dude 💯 Not looking for trouble but ready if it comes. Too many guys have a need to prove they’re tough guys. When a fire is hot & raging sometimes it’s best to stand back and let it burn out.
AZ has always been a premier NYC rapper since I heard Doe or Die when it dropped. He is one of the most overlooked east coast lyricists and his releases were always consistent.
: 50 wasn’t even dissing AZ, he just used his name to show, that if he tried to be more lyrical & technical than he really was at that moment, he wouldn’t have been praised the way he was for what he was preaching…THINK!
Fif's nod to AZ was that even though he was lyrical, he couldn't make a hit. That's why he specifically "bs joints"; it was a reference to the actual record. NE dudes think it's all about lyricism even though less lyrically talented artist make hits all over the country. All that talent and still missing the bag.
@@jaranameer2882Why are ppl trying to make out 50 to be Socrates or some ish. It's not that deep. He specifically said "🐂ish joints like AZ" because he knew rap "beef" sells records. Still does. And he was on the warpath like AZ said, dissing any and everyone to keep that persona pumping. Period. AZ a G in the streets for real though that's why he ain't feed in to that baby diss. 50 a marketing genius, not some ghetto guru where everything he say is SUPER deep. Y'all gotta stop drinking that Kool Aid. 50 looked up to AZ Nas Big etc...like he said if AZ wasn't popping Fif wouldn't even have mentioned him. AZ been a boss and still is. 50 been a boss and still is. But it's levels to ish. They both dope for different reasons.
I mean, 50s come up was the stuff of legend. Dude almost died, came back on a mission and got the attention of two of the greatest of all time in Dre and Em. White folks or not he worked his ass off for that.
@Nicolas good point but he’s still not better than AZ. It’s like comparing an educated poet to a community college creative writing student. AZ’s lyrics and flow are just completely superior, objectively speaking.
Lyricism sure. 50 ain’t even the best in his crew. Banks was always the dude that could rap his ass off. But some of these dudes acting like 50 can’t rap lol. Like come on dude was ciphering with guys like NORE in the late 90s. Dude had a deal before he got shot. Very few are as good as AZ, Nas, Cormega, etc. But 50 is respectable for sure.
I swear I was in love with AZ back in the day..I remember when Nas did my college homecoming in 96’ and brought out AZ the crowd went crazy. He was always a thorough dude from what I remember.
"50 it's only a run, enjoy this here Matter of fact you ain't done, enjoy this year And it's only fair I make this clear You could neva fuck wit me, so don't neva fuck wit me If money makes the man then on Iraq land Saddam statue will still stand on top of the sand You a fan so overall respect my hand Cuz I can see what's goin' on, I respect your scam And we can toast to the life that showed us both That trials and tribulation only bring forth growth And when we ghost, you know who will be felt the most So live your life 'til the reaper approach." AZ
I never really listened to AZ music but I always admired big homie because he always seemed like a cool laid back gangsta who wasn’t into all the rap politics and shit
See New York Nigz real different cause to this Day I remember seeing some Rap Dude's got TRULY shook when they saw Prodigy irl so for artist to NOT start nuthin sez ALOT
@@stevenshaw6256 you mean the version who's ass was saved by the popularity? 50s best version, the version which made Power of the Dollar couldn't fuck with AZ on a good day
knowledge begat wisdom, wisdom brings for an understanding of self. Everything falls into place from there, no need to engage by going into a rage over nothing you can't change. Always appreciated AZ's wisdom knowledge
50 isnt even a good lyricist my dude.... His pen isnt "deep" at all. Dear god what some of you have done to hip hop is utterly shocking. Makin it out like this dude Black Thought or Mos Def....
A-Z....ALPHA-OMEGA....AZ, I got a feeling he is not the guy to play with... He comes off as a doer, not a talker.... That's why his rhymes hit you in that relaxed but intense pocket of flow... Like a mafia do.. Respect the God AZ
Respect the game, respect fo others, Bruh was/is wise beyond his years!!! It ain't about beefin through lyrics, threatening and taking lives! Bruh comfortable, made his mark and is probably happily live of his monetary accomplishments and royalties.... AZ still and always has been a *Class Act*....💯💯❗️
