AZ might not have had mass appeal but in what world does he lack talent? He’s a rapper’s rapper. One of the nicest lyricists to control a mic.

What happened was.. "WESTCOAST"..took over the WHOLE rap game and after that the eastcoast wasn't running the game no more nowadays the rap game ain't "westcoast" the "SOUTH" controls THE WHOLE RAP GAME its all trap trill drill and booty sex rap

For anyone that was around rap in the late 90s to say AZ was lacking talent, they don't know what they are talking about. Young folks, go back and listen to Pieces of A Man, from start to finish. Still one of my personal top 10 albums ever.

AZ is in the upper echelon MCs in Hip❤Hop. Those that ever put him as underrated catigory just never had their ear on the speaker as he is easily in any Top Ten GOAT MC Lyrical List. This legendary classic mix is just a sample of what AZ spits 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥👐💯
