Hi Frederico, Am a big fan of all the Stefano Reghini yacht designs line up , but sadly non of his designs had the hull designed to have an IPS option as engines. Cost aside , would it be possible to retro fit this yacht with IPS instead of the shaft? And would their be a hull design restriction on fitting the IPS Thanks again for the great videos as always Big fan!
Thanks for watching! While I am not Federico, I am Phil, the other presenter, I can offer some insight. The lower deck and engine room of this model were designed with shaft line propulsion in mind. Retrofitting IPS on board would be costly and time consuming, and would not allocate more space to guest accommodations - one of the key benefits. The hull is also not designed for IPS, so you wouldn’t achieve optimal efficiency either, which is another key benefit. Therefore, while technically possible, it wouldn’t make any sense.
The door was just there, open it and show the engine room, gee 20 or so seconds more is not too much to ask.I'd personally rather see the engine room, than the storage under the beds. It would of topped off a nice video tour of this boat.

Love these reviews. Shame though, that a company that makes such fine yachts, with possibly an unreal profit, can't afford someone better to hold the camera. So frustrating, when the presenter is showing you something and the bert holding the camera is elsewhere in thought and by the time he realises he should have been looking, the presenter has moved on. 🙄🙄🙄
