Interesting video. But you have written wrong chemical equation. You have shown nitrozobenzene and NaOH.

Not bad! I just did this synthesis this week. That being said, I have a few pointers: 1. You wrote NaOH when you meant to write MeOH in your reaction scheme. You should fix that. 2. Your calculation of yield doesn't make sense. You need 2 equivalents of nitrobenzene to generate 1 equivalent of azobenzene. Therefore your max theoretical yield would be 4.59 g. That means your actual % yield was 67.5% I would fix this and reupload the video or at the very least, put in captions that fix these errors.

One mole of nitrobenzene gives half a mole of azobenzene. Your yield is twofold, which is very nice (68%).

You did some errors in the calculations, your actual yield is much higher ;) Otherwise great work !
