Thank you, you answered 4 of my questions in one. Dam good information, people like you with this honest makes the world 🌎 🌍 am easier n better place 😎
Thanks for the video. I feel like there good ammendments to use outdoor as well as if you use beds indoors and not in pots 40 gal and lower. Even though it takes so much time to break down there will be benefits long term. Again love the Series you have going on here breaking down the ammendments.
Green sand is great in no till organic gardens , that you plan to use long term . That way its very available in second and third cycles far more that the first from being broken down and processed by soil biology . But it can be used in small amounts in teas and sped up with high levels of biology in the soil as well. Olny to a degree of course unfortunately as your right its generally a slow release rate . I find it's best mixed with other ingredients and covered in fresh earth worm castings or compost to help with the process.
Can anyone describe how they use azomite in a compost tea. My only experience so far is making fresh leaf comfrey compost tea. I’d like hopefully step it up a notch with the added azomite. Thank you 😊
@Growing with the Beard that makes sense. I told the Mrs that you were either Charlottesville or NC. I'm a frequent shopper at the Charlottesville store🌻💯🌱🌳
😇how does greensand help with loosening up clay soil? calcium carbonate will surely though it is not always good to put large amounts in just one go. on the other hand, common between greensand and azomite is the large load of silica, the azomite up to 65% as shown in labels of the product. and both are good sources of trace minerals...blessings
It is amazing how many people put all kinds of stuff in their soil thinking it will improve their soil, resulting in better crop production. No ever seems to think that all these chemicals/minerals might do nothing or even harm your soil. The first rule of gardening is to get your soil tested to see if it is deficient in minerals. There are thousands of minerals, most of which are not need for plant growth. The companies who make these minerals/fertilizers tell you much to use yet know nothing about your soil composition. It is all about marketing. I will say it again - get a soil test done before you spend (waste?) your money on all these products.
