Thank you! Furnas is indeed a beautiful, unique village. There's many places with hotsprings and this kind of vulcanic fumes in many of the Azores islands. But none is as impressive as what we find in Furnas. That there's an actual village there is amazing. The delicious "bolos lêvedos", now available pretty much everywhere on the Azores, are also originally from Furnas. The cheese from the shop where we finish our video was great, and the people around the village were very nice.
The smoking fumaroles are mesmerising! Furnas is a completely different place from anywhere else I'd ever been. Maybe similar to Beppu in Southern Japan, but I haven't been there yet. Thank you for the encouragement I'm so glad people like watching my video walks!
