With my Bafang 750w motor system, I get 90 miles on one battery on Level 1 power (out of 9 levels of power). I can choose the exact power level to do what I want it to do. And it is at least a thousand dollars less then the Bosch. Bang for the buck award goes to Bafang.

15K for the full Monty ouch. But I still want one. 😎 now a question for my reality, when will this smart motor be available for my Catrike? And any idea on the cost to convert my non motorized Catrike to the new smart motor?

Catrike offers the Bosch Active Line Plus motor. I don't see them changing this year. The feedback from their customers have been pretty good with what they have. Although in a few years and I think the Smart system will be a staple on mid to high end trikes.

And how much does this new batter cost? Bosch has the highest cost of any of the e-assist motors out there. So, I'm thinking three grand.
