I level up every single one of my ships, even commons, from lvl 115+ in W14-4 since it’s the most gold efficient map. Manual lets you do this without using a single 120-125 ship. If you really want to min max it, you can tailor your leveling fleet to either deal with the SS enemies or the BB enemies and just dodge the others. Or you can make one fleet for each, if you don’t have good cross fleet buffers.

Keen to see fleet building guides with alternatives to URs, rationale on equipments etc. - lots of newer players on Lil Enty and we don't have many rainbows and event ships, so can't exactly follow all the cookie cutter fleets 🥲
Glad I got her day three chapter 14 came out, that (mostly) manual grind was hell. But I pretty much never failed with FDG as my mob flag, which was nice, unfortunately Richie didn't cut it here for me.
man when ch14 cames out and they announce that flares will be crucial i was thinking that my fav ship, Sendai, will be the biggest star here since back then she was the only one with built-in flare. Shes dead 20sec in the first battle. Unfortunate. But nowadays she can survive. Somehow. Doesnt make big difference tho. But its fun to use her for this purpose only.
Missed opportunity to recommend New Orleans for a first time clear... :D Trolling aside, maybe I'll finally attempt to clear it after the next event. Kinda always avoided because I was always saving oil for farming other things. I'm just lvl. 113, but I should be able to field two fleets of almost all lvl 125 ships. I basically don't have any +13 equipment, though.
I cleared it on Little Enterprise server and I have never touched Gear Lab. As a returning player you should even have better gear than me depending on how invested you were before quitting and how long you were playing.
You should probably make that a priority. Gear and levels are the two most important things to maximize levels in the game so you're basically driving a car with no wheels right now
For those who think the fleet requirements are still too high, reminder that you can just full manual to clear until safe mode then attempt to auto. In fact, me and my guildies in Washy did that and had to manual for bosses up after safe mode up until we got N.O. So if you really struggle but want N.O. asap, that is another way.
I have a question about carriers AA stat, that was never adressed before in any youtube video, reddit post or wiki artickle. No need to talk about Air Supeiority/Supremacy etc. 1.How does AA stat affect carriers without AA guns? 2.Does AA stat on CV's contribute any damage to fighter planes countering enemy planes? 3.How can we calculate damage dealt by aircraft guns to enemy planes?
It's crazy how you play in a different language make a guide video and don't actually say the whole fleets, like I know every single ship you used but two. Better information in the drop down would be really beneficial even to veterans cause like I'm lost asf especially with skins on 😂

No ur, instead a few event ships, and rainbow gear, along with that stupid headchog. I stupidly deleted when I first started and no way to get it back. So I literally can't complete 14-3.
Great video. Just had the idea that AL could maybe add Leaderboards for least Fleet Power used to give some kind of challenge to maxxed players. Would be really interesting to see how low you can go. (Possibly with no fleet tech too)
I have auto my through world 13 with 3 starts with only Using Eagle union ships so far but now im trying to figure out what EU ship would be good in world 14.
1 or 2 vanguard AA specialist like royal maids or atlanta class to keep the fleet safe from plane rush for example 1 tanky cruiser 1 healer for mob fleet like Uni retro You can opt to use less BBs for more carriers to have air supremacy 13-3 has the crane sisters as boss both medium armor 13-4 has taihou a heavy armor Prepare your AP gear/torps/converging torps to deal massive damage to the boss and command ships that buff enemy fleet Have some units with HE to handle the healer ship that will heal Taihou. Level ships to 120-125 to be safer.
i think im probably the only idiot who runs mob fleet Aquila tenrai+wyvern and seen huge success on all ch. 14 stages, and on auto too. great video as always sir. perhaps u can try demonstrate chapter 14 auto runs with faction fleet/fun fleet no cats/FT and see if they can work as a video idea
I keep checking in with the AL Discord and those guys make it sound like W14 is impossible without Gear Lab items. I don't have any GL items because I hate Op Si and only do it to collect the metas. I do have almost every single ship and all the important ones near max level.
I love how you exit the boss stage to grab the flares and the first two flares land behind your fleet where no enemy is ever going to step in xD praise the RNG
Chapter 14 is kind of easy, to be honest. You can clear it with only using permanent ships, not using a single gacha UR or other gacha only ships. watch?v=9xqcA-Iy-lg is my run of it. With PR6 doubt the composition would change much (already have everything from that chapter, so not bothering with it again)
i think if you really want to help people, you should do a chapter 14 guide with only ship that can be reliability obtain in game, meaning, no event ship, maybe no pr ship as well, only ship from story mode, shops and war archive, and no gear lab gears and no ur gears.. this will make the guide applicable no matter when the player is watching...
I mean you're gonna have at least two Wyvern when you reach Lvl 100. Just take your time and don't rush, unless if you're using BisZwei for mobbing, then you can kill everything so easily.
Just started world 14 fews weeks ago when i got NJ and now im stuck on 14-3. I can only beat 5 mob all with manual control. im using this comp to beat 14-1 and 14-2. NJ, unicorn, amagi, anchorage, sandy retro and changcun for mob fleet all lvl 125 FDG, bismarck 2, implacable, helena, heinrich and mainz for boss fleet all lvl 125 I have agir, plymouth, harbin, drake, hakuryuu, azuma but all far from dev lvl 30 I use UR gear which is mk7 for NJ, 457mm for bismarck 2, wyvern for unicorn,, 234mm for anchorage, new DD UR for sandy & helena, ad-1 for impacable honestly i kinda embarassed watching this guide, skill issue i guess Never try looking into guide very depth before cause im lazy and just throw my stronger ship based on its power, so definitely will try to make my team based on this guide and hopefully i can finally beat this chapter. btw nice backsound and thanks for the video.
It sounds like you're having trouble getting the "defeat all enemies" star in 14-3, and that really is the hardest part of w13. Start by focusing more on ASW - I'd take two DDs with decent ASW stats (along with Anchorage or Kronshtadt). San Diego is fine but she's only amazing in plane hells (w12-13). But also look for ships that aren't affected as strongly when out of ammo, like Marco Polo, Magdeburg, and Theseus. Kazagumo's CV buff has a similar effect - buffs/debuffs are additive, so you lose 50% for being out of ammo but add 15%, so now you're at 65% and that's not so bad. With Kazagumo you'd want to take Unicorn and and another healer. The concealment mechanic - and subs - means you want DDs in your boss fleet, too. If you were to stick with your ships, I'd swap NJ and FDG; the former is a single target specialist and the latter is great against mobs because of her barrage, and she's bulkier, too. Amagi wants to be flagship (I used her in 14-4 where ammo isn't an issue on manual).
@@CarlosSempereChen Thank you for the lengthy reply. Yes, I'm attempting to 3-star a stage for gems. Unfortunately, I don't have Kronshtadt, as I started playing after the Musashi event. I've been trying to obtain Kazagumo for a long time, but no luck so far. I've experimented with different ship compositions using various level 120-125 ships, and the current one works best for me. I lack knowledge about ship skill requirements for specific stages, so your input is very much appreciated. Aside from Kazagumo, I have limited options for strong DDs. My strongest ones are the three starters retro, Ayanami retro, Shigure retro, Z46, Janus, and Kitakaze, Yukikaze (not max level yet), Yuudachi (currently stuck on a retro item).
