The luck stat for all of these characters is based off their bust size (and correct me if I'm wrong, but this isn't the first time a collab used that metric to determine luck lol). Murasaki has the biggest bust size in the game at 105. She's also really pessimistic, which is traditionally associated with having bad luck. That's my guess as to why her augment lowers her luck. Also, a little disappointing that the shop skins don't come with damage versions like the defaults do. The defaults seem cooler than the shop skins to me lol
I'm wondering if the reason why their base stats are a little lackluster IS because of their luck. If their luck is high enough to give about 10% hit rate, 10% to EVA, 2% to Crit Rate + their augments, it may shift them up a level in performance. I never expect collabs to be high tier, but they do break up the monotony in fun mob fleets.
I am not so quick to write off the Senran girls, as like all the newer collabs they have a strong design around making a full, capable fleet with unique theme mechanics. Ryza, did..Gridman did so I view them more as a collective group and less as isolated individuals. Fubuki's skill is done quite specifically as she as a special connection and relationship with Yumi.
Wants to speed through, video is 10 minutes longer than normal. Poor boy. Ikaruga looks to get 3 hits per first skill trigger, 2 at the start and another after the shield. My read on Yumi's first skill is that each tick of the beam increases the freeze chance for that beam, not that each separate barrage gets a higher and higher chance to freeze. Murasaki's first skill increases the size of the gauge so she is stealthed longer, not starts her off partially detected.
After the massive synergy and great network of support in the skills of the Ryza collab, the Senran Kagura girls' skills are a huge letdown, regardless of what their obscene amount of luck might or might not give them. It feels like all they really bring is literally fan service via their bust sizes........... to a game already loaded up on fan service for bust sizes and various other lewd/suggestive skins. And the fact that their normal clothes can be "damaged" as well as their skins being mainly revealing swimsuits just lends more weight to the SK ships being added just for fan service.
in a world(game) where rainbow ships battle for spots in fleets, you think collab ships will get a chance to be good? waifu > meta is the only reason somebody would bother with any of them

@@nephalos666 cuz it boils down to it. this is a promotional throw away from another game to try to bring more players from there into here. devs or someone higher up played 30 minutes of some of senran game and/or watched the anime from 10 years ago, came up with some weird name for skills to resemble the material and "good luck doing something with it". sometimes it's a hit, other times it's a miss. Nobody will double, triple check if things are up to par to make it super interesting. they already bothered to put the "damaged" clothes into base material.... not having to pay actual money for it. the "details" are already there said an anonymous that calls the shots. And we have a (new? ) UR event coming next month. that's where all the fine details will be. And i'll be honest. the level of work and detail that was put into Atelier Ryza event was out of the world. It was either, they had a loooong time to prep it up, or someone in Manjuu really loves that game.
So glad these girls are mostly collection only since that Tempesta event drained so many of my cubes (worth it though, since that was definitely top 3 event in terms of the actual dialog and characters).
personally, im glad most of these ships are collectables only. i've never heard of senran kagura so I don't have a connection to most of these characters either. so i'm not going to stress about getting them and will do my dailies so I can save for next time lol thank you for putting the work into this video

bruh I'm always sad at how bad the monitors are. I'm just not a fan of ships being weaker on purpose. Monitors really need a niche beyond *slightly less oil cost*. Erebus meta could have been a healer but it's only one target and inconsistent.
At least, it makes them faithful to history. 20th century Monitors were cheap, slow, barely armoured ships, with a small amount of disproportionately large guns (usually salvaged from older, scraped battleships), designed for use in shore bombarment only.
@@Jawslehoff yea I understand that. It's why a few shipgirls are weaker than they should be. Makes for uninteresting game design imo though. Hoping the monitors get a retrofit or augment that make them more interesting or fun to use.

I'm kind of disappointed. Given how fun and thematic the girls from the last two collabs were, these girls just feel so bland and lackluster. None of them really stand out.
Technically worth it? No. But keep in mind that there's a pretty good (arguably high given the overall history of collabs) chance that this event never gets a rerun either. You'll have to wait a while, but you're most definitely get a second crack at a UR ship. Devs have surprised us with two collab reruns so far, which is ofc good! But that's no sure thing that more will be coming.
@@GrandMoffJoseph where the f did you get the 90-95 chance of no rerun? thats basically guaranteed of no rerun and a huge BS dont spread trust me bro statements so far neptune was the only collab that has never gotten a rerun but almost all of the collabs gotten one ryza was fairly new so thats a exception so chances are this will get a rerun next year or at 2025 either you chose this ships that you might never use cuz most of them are bad or a guaranteed UR that might not be OP but will most likely still usable especially for a new player
