Lol, the circle jerk of pathetic former Genshin content creators who can't let the game stop living rent free in their heads. I got a bridge to sell you if you think any of these games are killing Genshin.
Its from Manjuu, the Azur Lane developer. So thats already a big bonus in my book. Azur Lane is still my favorite gacha game and maybe the most f2p friendly game on the market. Manjuu as a developer communicates and listens to their community reliable supporting their long running game. Of course after Genshin's Success everybody wants in with their own Genshin clones. Lets see how many can survive in the market and if anybody can push Genshin from the throne or even come close.
@@natebeal18Azur Lane has some godlike horni designs, and I still find Baltimore super sick. However the designs in Azur Promilia are not it, tbh. They're super generic.
Not really, the games are completely different. AP will probably be more casual. WuWa will probably be much more technically demanding than this game and Genshin combined.
3:17 biggest thing is phones are at a point where they can develop games like this. The limiting factor will always be what mobile is capable of running on a large scale.
the young chinese devs getting into the gaming market is also a big reason, china used to be really poor now they are relatively well off, so the new educated geeks starts to work in industries they love. also Genshin being so successful is the spark lights up the industry
You skipped the other farming content where you can assign pets to mine materials when you build an outpost for them and how you can use the pets skills as well in the open world to quick farm materials.
This is looking really good. It has palworld mechanics with your pets helping in combat/crafting/gathering/base building. It has Granblue Fantasy Relink mechanics in combat with the break bar. It's looking good man. I'm hoping it's a real game.
"it's because.. there's no endgame. it's not enough battle and i don't wanna spend my time to pick mint!" *while act like a late 50's dad trying the hardest to be fun and cool around gen z. then proceed to post another videos about the game for months straight 😂
Mtashed missed: Auto pickups, destruction of surrounding stuff for resources, construction of mining camp and putting your "pals" to work there, eggs and some characters with bosses Also why every youtuber calls bird boss a dragon?
I also have the same doubt, how suddenly many studios are launching these massive games suddenly and release timelines are also really really close to each other.
All you want is people who make their entire brand about something (that they presumably enjoy) to not talk about the thing they make their brand about and enjoy.
Um... this is relevant whether it annoys you or not. The main reason behind Genshin's success is moreso due to the lack of alternatives rather than the quality of the game itself... imo. 🤷♂️ I think it's a good and valid discussion to have.
never really thought about it but now that he mentioned it - true that so many gacha/open world-like games pop out of nowhere seemingly. I’m convinced he’ll find a good game to cover and if none it good at all - we’ll find out together. :)
I think one is a type of animal prolly a cat, and another looks like it could be a harpy, so they likely have other races, but elf's likely are a bigger majority race.
Yea dude, i think your channel will be fine. And if you find a new game that pops off, even better. I just watch because I think your are entertaining. Who cares what game.
I was really excited for Wuthering Waves because of the pokemon element but I like genshins anime style more...i really have high hopes for this game now!
Mtashed you mentioned how are they all able to have the same open world. Usually coders collab on making source code to develop. That code Usually becomes open source meaning anyone has access to it. That way many people can work on or assist with something like an making the base code. Downside is everyone has access to the code to develop their own open world projects.
There are even talks that this game might come out as soon as this year, so yeah, WuWa will be my main game and this will be my sub game , and as for genshin? i've truly started to hate it with passion...not the game exactly, but Hoyoverse and its toxic community. I am quite invested in the story but even seeing paimon these days gives me diarrhea , that damn emergancy food must've gone bad.. Anyways, jokes aside, Genshin was a lovely game that was more than amazing when it first released , but over the years became stagnant water, it has no future. It's time for new games to do what Genshin Impact refuses to.
the tech improved and some of the tech is sold as asset and the engine kinda improved Unity3D china has NANITE while everyone else don't. i have a theory they also have a market place in china for certain toolings.. and they have seen the success of genshin
I feel like the combat is just flashy animations without much complexity base on the gameplay. Have a feeling they will go with focusing on casual experience more in this one.
Ngl, the world just looks fun to be in, as a "downtime" game it looks really appealing, hopefully it also has some challenging aspects too. It's already got my as excited for it as I am for Wutherin Waves but we'll see. Thanks for covering this, looking forward to more
2:59 there are rumors about mounts in Natlan... possible flying Dragon mounts, maybe?... imagine the movie "How to train your Dragon," but its genshin Impact style 😂
I think the games that I’m most excited about are Honor of Kings World and WuWa, but I’m definitely going to try this one out. Hope they make more character models exploring different genres and shapes…
good stuff i always enjoy seeing up and coming games and news about games and updates, this kinda videos could be the one type of many you could do to fill the void... you have a good follow base that enjoys you take on all things video games, you got this.
the MC can be male. you can choose between male or female MC. manjuu is known for fanservice devs, but the funny thing is the ceo is a female and cosplayer lmao (they got "backlash" from some feminist on twitter because they made unrealistic female body because they accused azurlane made by only men)
@@prohanta9360 there’s just no point in the waifu pandering anymore when companies like Hoyoverse prove that you can release a relatively balanced roster of male and female characters and rake in huge cash. It’s just an extremely dated bias that alienates a big portion of potential players.
It got "Azur" in the title, this will be the 3rd now if we count Azur Welkin which they said is in development. Seems like Manjuu is trying to create it's own universe similar to MHY's "Honkai".
From looks and fighting annimation stuff alone this smokes genshin on all corners all year long no question about it i love how they present it and i will definitly give it a try keeping my hopes up
mugen and promilia tbh already blown genshin and zzz hype. ww is in tough spot because they really promote the game for hardcore player without having mindblowing aspect and combat focused game, while mugen blown people mind because the traversal and extreme freedom, promilia introducing companion type gameplay with jrpg artstyle
Glad to see your thoughts on this game. I saw a video earlier today on it and it looks fairly interesting. Another gotcha game for sure but the combination of Genshin and Palworld together sounds pretty intriguing. Will probably give it a try when it comes out. Whether it sticks with me who knows but definitely worth a go at least.
btw this is the experiment video, whether it will get views or not, if this is a viable option, btw Solo Leveling Arise is coming out in April, it has a lot of Players pre-registered already
No offense, but I hope Manjuu does not hand you, out of all CCs, a cbt key. You will do the same thing you always do, called quitting-- CBT's are made for people who want to really play the game then proceed to give advice and gameplay feedback to the devs. You're burnt out.
Most devs have probably had the tech for years. They just never had the incentive. They were satisfied sticking with the status quo of really basic mobile gachas. Genshin came along and basically lit the entire revenue record book on fire. Now everyone else wants in on the action.
Maybe when genshin impact came out, Hoyoverse started selling the engine it was made in and maybe some other stuff so it makes it easier to make the games super easy to make ?
to be honest, the game looks so cool, love the designs and the music so far but where are the male characters? I don't mind getting cute anime girls but I mainly pull for male characters....
Such an overused term, genshin won't be killed, it might one day lose popularity but not die. I hope one of these upcoming games are good enough to keep me from only playing genshin.
