And i have subscribed to ur channel! Just one question please, when cteating a new host pool and adding hostsession (vm) is it possible to join it to windows AD later on, or does it have to be done under the hostpool-vm creation process. Becasue i will create hostpool with vm for a customer and i dont have the companys admin AD credentials. So i thought that maybe i can create the hostpool with vm and then later on the customer can join it to ad.. or if you have another suggestion. Would be grateful!!

@@samial2341 Appreciated!!!Yes one can add VM to the host pool later on. Make sure to download the AVD agent and and register machine to HP.

Thanks Girish Sir, from this video I am able to setup VDI with fslogix. I got issue in Fslogix, after create key in registry, VHD is not attached in VDI but I have resolved issue to copy admx and adml template in sysvol folder inside VDI. Girish Sir now my queries are how to configure AVD with onprem AD Sever for authentication.Do we need migrate DC to Azure Cloud? If need migration how to do?

You are welcome. If you want to integrate AVD env with on prem(DC) it can be done by setting s2s VPN connection. Other option will be to move on prem DC to azure.

It didnt give public ip enabling option in current Azure portal while creating host pool- win 10 WVD hence I am not able to RDP to it, please help. Found article for using Bastion service which I am trying to implement as a workaround

You should be able to assign PIP from the VM interface. Expand VM-Networking-Network Interface-IP Configiguration-ipconfig-Associate Public IP

@@GirishSharma thanks. Worked great. I was confused about another issue, not being able to access resources using rdweb url. I made the stupid mistake of using rdweb.wvd.microsoft.com/webclient/index.html instead of the link for the "after spring upate" version rdweb.wvd.microsoft.com/arm/webclient/index.html Issue resolved. Thanks a lot.

Hi Girish, How did you create DNS and Azure AD domain ? I am new to cloud so i just took free subscription for 30 days. Could you please guide me from step-1 like creating Azure AD , Domain , DNS . Please.

When you set up Azure AD tenant initial domain is created with .on Microsoft.com. you can add custom domain by going to azure AD - custom domain. Please check video in my Playlist how to add custom domain. It will ask you to verify your custom domain by inputting TXT record with which your domain is hosted.

@@suman825413 Azure AD is not the same as we know of Windows AD. In the context of WVD windows AD was a pre requisite.but things have changed since than as for WVD one no longer needs windows AD but will also depends upon some other configuration.

i'hv authenticated WVD with azure ad and vm are reflecting under device in azure ad , while logging in only local user is able to login , is there any way that all the user can login to vdi who are part of Azure AD ? also i hv added few users in app group but while checking its refleting 0 assigned vm against them.
