Jill I can the beans so I have ready made meal. I add hamburger and canned tomatoes to kidney beans for a quick chili. My Granddaughter loves navy bean soup. Yup I gift her a jar or two to use when she gets in the mood for beans and cornbread 😋 I picked up my Azure haul on Thursday. ❤Azure chicken feed and all of my grains for baking.
I do this too! Buying the dry beans and canning it is so much cheaper and really not much work to do. Totally worth it. I never remember to soak dry beans overnight before cooking
@@WhisperingWillowFarmI was plant based for 9 years, so I am exploring more of the meat and dairy from Azure. Their beans and oats will always be a staple in our house. The Azure brand cleaning products are solid too. I don't care for the pine scented toilet bowl cleaner smell, but unscented stuff is great. I can tell you I tried one of the natural deodorants. I want to say it was called Crystal something. Omg that was soooo bad. It smelled like a dead fish in my pits. 0/10 don't recommend 🤣
😂 good to know. I wish you the best on your food journey. I learned real quickly that my body needs animal protein and now I’m on a primarily protein diet
@@WhisperingWillowFarm thanks. I am doing a PCOS diet that is primarily animal protein, so it's a big change for me for sure. I would love some cook with me videos showing what you make for dinners because I haven't eaten meat in almost a decade. I did check out your favorite cookbook video too. I took notes lol
❤My daughter just started a job working for FedEx. she walked into the house in full required attire which made me instantly want a package delivered. Then you show how food can be delivered - I just restocked my grab n go jarred snacks in the kitchen and need to go through my pantry to stock up for autumn favorite cooking! 😊
I also like to get dry beans instead of buying canned beans especially because of all the garbage the cans create. But I do miss the convenience of canned beans so i pressure can my dry beans so I have them on my shelves. 4 # of any bean gives me me about 7 quarts or at least 15 pints. One pint equals a 15 oz can of beans. There are many RU-vid videos that teach pressure canning dry beans.
Hey Jill! Have you tried any of the household items like soaps? Detergents? Or do you have another brand you use? This is my next step to getting away from all the toxins and chemicals.
I have not because we use Melaleuca for those items. We do carry bar dish soap on our website and we love it thewhisperingwillowfarm.com/collections/mercantile-shop?page=2
You should check out Cream Line Soap! They have earth sourced goats milk soaps for body as well as solid dish soap. No nastys and they clean really well
I buy the same butter you used to buy so was intrigued when you said this European log ended up being cheaper. I figured the costs and came up with $90 for 15lbs of Rumiano. I used to buy their 15lb box which they no longer carry. I see 15lbs of the European at $131.35 so essentially $40 more than Rumiano. Bummer. Let me know if I am figuring this wrong as I was excited when you said it was cheaper. 😂😂😂 I also think they changed their Rumiano as the salted is way less salted than it used to be which is unfortunate.
You can definitely become a facilitator and create your own drop. I’m sure there are others in your area that would love the opportunity to order from Azure
There are some significant perks to being a drop coordinator, and since interest in azure is growing right now, this would be a great time to begin if you’re up to it.
So glad you enjoyed it. Our family of 6 consists of our older daughter who is 14 and prefers to be left out of social media. She’s the one you’re probably missing from our content. Unfortunately she dealt with some bullying in her school when her classmates found out we had a RU-vid channel.
What's the difference between Jasmine Rice and regular white Rice? I've heard of it, just never bought it because I don't know anyone that uses it. Thanks
