Father knows best, and He knew you needed a true Sabbath rest. I'm glad you are feeling better. It took me a while to really regain my strength. Blessings to you and yours for a beautiful celebration. ❤😊
Thankyou, Constance... l had no idea that Matzah was such a simple thing, and so easily made.. but then, that makes sense in the context of its history! Hah! I am so glad that you are on the mend, and have had a good rest, even when you least expected it!! Keep on the go-slow, until you have all of your zoom back. Happy Passover, a little late... my internet is still off more than on! Love, hugs and continuing prayers for you and yours... 😊❤🫂✝️🦘
You matza looked wonderful and it brought back a lot of good memories. I lived in an old Jewish neighborhood in Baltimore for several years. My neighbors were always giving me treats they had made of telling me of how to use matza in my cooking.
My husband was behind me as I was watching, and he exclaims, "Tortillas!". Oh my! lol Thank you so much for always taking the time to explain things so well, and I pray the Lord's blessings on you and your family.
Sometime if we don't give our body what it needs it just takes it, hence, your long restful nap. Thanks for sharing parts of your life of homestead living, I'm a city girl with a country heart.
Thank you Constance for showing us your haul & other the great yummy’s. We didn’t expect for you to do the Scripture Reading’s because you weren’t well😢. Feel better my friend Happy Passover🙏🙏🙏Blessing’s
I am so glad you mentioned the bread flour. I have been looking for an organic brand. There were so many versions on their site, I had no idea what might be similar.
Great timing! I will be observing Pesach/day 1 of ULB tomorrow with lamb roasted by fire, unleavened bread (this one!), bitter herbs (and maybe some garlicky kefir cheese). Experimenting with a blend of hard white and soft white fresh-milled wheat 🙂
Just made this recipe for dinner. It is so good!! Used them for tacos and they didnt fall apart. Kind of like a soft taco, but with more texture. I dont usually care for soft shells, but these had enough texture to make them different even though they werent crunchy. I wondered if mixing by hand would be an issue and it worked fine. Thank you!!!
I found Matzah but where… I think it was in Fort Smith at Harps. I shop everywhere looking for stuff then I forget where I find stuff. My next best guess is the Fort Smith Walmart at exit 5.
I searched on Walmart’s website, and every store it put in, only gave me the option to order it. That it wasn’t in stock. I didn’t think to look at Harp’s in Ft Smith though.
@@CosmopolitanCornbread It must have been that Harps. I found some gluten free matzah crackers too, that I think are gross but my husband likes. 😆 I need to start writing down where I find what. I cycle through all these places - the Harps in Van Buren is totally different from the one in Fort Smith. And the one in Cedarville is WILD - tiny but will have the most random good stuff.
Praise Yah and His Good word.. you are confirmation that I am not crazy lol man I'd love to share with you what the Father has done for me! I'm returning to Him wholeheartedly and He is HEALING me!! His Way is truly the only way!! יברכך אדוני וישמרך !!
Easter is based on the first Sunday after the first full moon, after the March equinox. Passover is the 14th of the Hebrew month of Aviv/Nissan. (Exodus 12, Deuteronomy 16, Numbers 9, etc) Once in a “blue moon” they’ll fall on the same day, since they both move dates on the Gregorian calendar, but normally they aren’t. HTH
Thank you, I appreciate your answer. Made more sense than Google. I love when you mention Ft Smith. We lived in Talihina for 8 years while my husband was a dr for the Choctaw Nation. Was an interesting life. 54 miles from the nearest WalMart! Take care, hope you feel back to normal soon.
