In Croatian it's DABAR which ain't that far from Bobr when u pronounce it. But considering that in English it's called a Beaver (BIVR) (not that far off from Bobr) the root might be in old Indo-European

To piekny jezyk but you should be aware that a lot of words are mispelled on youtube comments (Polish uses special characters that English doesn't have - the e should have a tail in both words)
